When you're back around I'd love to harass you for some training, if only because I might lose my head sitting here at badges for the rest of my career otherwise.

Had I the time - or the inkling that I wouldn't have had the time - in my youth, I should have liked to travel. It might shock some to know that in my day, rather, I was known to be a bit of an upstart rebel. And as such, I was wholly fascinated by Shrovetide (particularly the Carnivalesque nature it took below the skirt in Brazil and other such nations).

And in 250 years, my fascination has not waned. Had I more capital, I would have perhaps traveled to New Orleans to partake in the atmosphere. That being said, I will not allow a lack of funding to keep my curiosity at bay. Instead of flying, I shall simply have to imagine. As that is so, I have determined to go to the Village Pourhouse for said celebrations.

Well, as much as I like Cheers I am not a fan of Diane. She is.... well, she's very mean to Sam. I think Carla is one of my favorite characters. But the whole ensemble cast is good together.

Setting aside the fact that I'm well aware that Google exists aside, anyone have any recommendations or know a diner-like place that's hiring waiters? Somewhere I might not be told I look a lot like some guy on TV a lot?

I figured the best kind of job to get is one that I know already.

So I'm not even into a full week of being here yet and I get to spend a good part of my evening stuck in an elevator.

Since it looks like I'm going to be here for a while, I've been talking with some people about getting signed up for classes. I don't think my parents would want me to skip out on school just because I'm in some crazy new universe.

So bad news. I'm not 100% sure how she did it, but we have an agent in SHIELD who is baring some amateur mistake within 7-12 days of cracking my encryption.
