I submitted an application to the NYPD today. It won't be like home, but I figured I need a job and Kenzi and I aren't getting enough cases to make it in New York just doing PI work.

I was picking up some physio equipment on six, and there's definitely something something strange with the electrical going on down here. I suppose it could just be interference from the attack a few weeks back or adjustment to the new grid. But, I want to say the door attacked me when I tried to leave? And... it won't open.

I've had a real productive month here. I finished up a couple of chairs to sell in the city, but I've been spendin' most of my time here at the ranch takin' care of the animals. Finished up a chicken coup last week and it's got a couple of hens in it. Feels good to have some things that will be self sufficient.

Think I'm gonna be back in my apartment at the Tower for the rest of the week though. Gotta get the furniture in and arrange some things there.
