At least there was no whining about being single and...the pack...got to let off some steam. I guess I'd call that a good weekend.

All right. After last week's revolt, I've decided that instead of just showing the movie du jour, the Youth Centre will also be having a gaming night. Right now, we're low on board and card games, so it'll be slow-going as we build up a collection. Eventually, I think, we're going to open it up to young adults as well.

I just wanted to say that I'm so thankful to all of you who have supported us. Your donations have been overwhelming, and there just aren't words to convey it.

Kodo and Podo are settling into daily life at Potts Tower pretty well. They don't even complain when I take little tissue samples. Especially not if I give them sweets as a treat for being awesome little dudes. They don't seem to mind the smoke either

I've seen a lot of things on the internet lately, talking about children's reading programs.
We should team up with the Barking Lot and have kids read to the dogs. I know a lot of people here have animals, including my own dog. Children reading to the dogs is a good way for them to practice without any negative feedback.

We could also recruit people with free time to read aloud. I saw Kitty Pryde mentioning she was going to read The Hobbit to Bucky. What kind of name is Bucky nevermind I know a Herc

I could also perhaps, if you think it's a good idea, teach Japanese? To the smaller children. I've read they pick up on second languages easier at a young age. I just would like to keep myself busy. I've lost two dear friends to the Tesseract this month.

My friends.

The Lady of Widows has approached me stating that she requires a suit of dragon leather with some haste. I am loathe to leave the Tesseract with Midgard's shield in its state of disarray, tho she swears it will be safe under her guardianship, in which I do believe faithfully. While not our promise'd hunt, we could afford a brief sojourn to Muspelheim to acquire the beasts of which she has need and leave them with a tannery, returning early next week.
