So I was reading this thing online about college admissions essays these days and one of them was "Describe yourself fully and accurately in 140 characters." And it seemed like an interesting challenge so I came up with one:

Transdimensional gotham chica in nypd has questions & questionable tastes. Mask not only closet: don't tell fiancee. Will work for justice.

It's only 139 characters and now there's no room for a hashtag I do have room for a question mark, but it seemed excessive. Anyway, it seemed like a fun thing. It actually kind of was.

But also. when I applied to college at GU, weren't essays like "Describe a book that changed your life that you've read the cliff notes of" or "Tell us about why you're an awful failure and how that makes you feel"? Wait. Shit. I'm giving a kids these days rant. #notoldreally

Right at this moment, nothing sounds better than a bottle glass of red wine, something that is actually terrible for you to eat, and I would say the Olympics, but I can't in good consciousness watch them, not with all that I've read about the hatred and prejudice that Russia is displaying towards homosexuals. So, I think I need something else to watch. Suggestions?

I have evolved as a species, I eat from boxes, not tins, my food is prepared in front of me, not canned in a factory. However what I'm eating has not been featured in an art exhibition by Andy Warhol, thus perhaps my cultural evolution has taken a dive. I have reached Stephen Dedalus' Middle Ages, wherein everything is just a little bit dark, with a few more rats.

Which makes sense, considering I have acquired means of both self-sustenance, sustainability and destruction: Employment. Oh joyous day. I can eat fried pits of poultry and rice from a box with two sticks, I can afford the drink I need for self-sustenance, sustainability and destruction -- and, and most important. I can stack boxes in the back rooms of a grocery.

If I didn't know that aliens existed already I'd totes be for this whole "the government" did it thing though. Really they're probably going the wrong angle with it though. Now tie in some corporations that want sweet sweet government contracts for no reason other than greed and we'd be cooking with gas.

I mean they would say something like a major corporation making backdoor deals to get control of the electricity of an entire metropolitan area for who knows what end other than supposedly the goodness of their own hearts? But then they'd probably just be plagiarizing from a press release.
