When: Wednesday evening, 5 February 2014
Where: Henry/Edward's apartment
What: Uh... an interruption and discussion.
Rating: Low, but PG to be safe?
Logan has asked me to move into the house that he and the X-Men have set up in Brooklyn.
Beg your pardon, Sir and Ma'ams. But I was directed to you one of you three as those who'd know best.
I'm guessing, based on the reception I've received, that I'm a familiar name, if not face, but if not, I'm Sgt Timothy Dugan, go byDumb Dumb--Tarnation. How d'I erase thDum Dum. US Armed Forces, Howling Commandos. There's an alphabet soup of other affiliations and badges after all that if you'd like to verify, but I think we can brush aside all that in introductions at least for now.
What I'm asking is this. I've a small bit of history with SHIELD back when I'm from, and it's swell to see what you've done with the old thing. But I'm suddenly finding myself 65 odd years in the future and wonderin what exactly it is I'm missing. What would I need to do to get access to what you guys have on me between about August 1950 and the present day?
Much appreciate it and it's a pleasure to meet you.
Sincerely yours,
Dum Dum Dugan
But I put one up on the holocom and you should see what he does. Their internal systems are quite interesting and I'm full of ideas. Probably not good ideas, but ideas worth pursuing in some form or another.
Particularly if there is a way to synthesize their biological processes into a gadget that could protect our team from airborne radicals. Imagine, if you will, an adipose in miniature (or adipose tissue) strapped to Agent Ward's wrist. And then imagine the genetic material manipulated in such a way that it could actually absorb free radicals like ... ricin. Or other dangerous, scary-man items.
Thoughts?

-- This hotel room's very homey.

-- They're really going all out here.
-- How secure do you think your phones are?
I hope you don't feel like I was hiding this from you.
It's not something I usually talk about unless... I have a reason to.
