Is it weird if I think this is sort of exciting? I mean, it's an alternative universe. That shouldn't even be possible, I don't think, and yet here we are. Don't mind me, I'm sure the novelty of it will wear off soon.

It has been a while since I faced a dragon in battle. It is as exhilarating as I remember and this one was easily as large as the one we faced at the Bone Pits at home.

The dragon came to Vanaheim via a portal. From where, I know not. It was just as well we were there. It was quite large.

All else aside, you have to admire the courage extreme cold inspires in people.

This is way too weird even by my standards of the word.

I'm filming not far from 30 Rockefeller Plaza and I'm sure I saw Doctor Doom atop what I think is part of the Atlas statue. Got some video since I was high enough up to not be seen (most would think I was part of the cleaning crew).

The new year has brought some welcome changes to the universe. I'm not one for saccharine sentimentalism, but perhaps - it is time to put trust where trust is earned. Not that I have any interest in "new years resolutions." I can only hope that fad will die before the next new year's celebration.

Is it too late to try for spring term art classes anywhere? Because exam results are in and I passed.

On the fifthteenth of this month, I begin S.H.I.E.L.D. training. I get to be a rookie again, which is fantastic, I promise. Merlin, one week from today. Anyway, I learned a lot from training to be an Auror. This time, I shall cook a fuckton of food, freeze it, and thus be able to save money instead of ordering take away every damned night.

I'm taking food submissions, in case anyone is feeling particularly generous and/or sorry for a bachelor who's going to be busy as fuck for the foreseeable future. (And yes, I will pay for this food. And no, it doesn't defeat the purpose of not having take away. I'll get more for my money paying for a few casseroles or whatever than I would for a night of Indian food.)

I kind of just want to go back to that tango.
