Well I'm successfully moved into the apartment with Dean and Charlie. Thankfully despite being here for some time I really haven't acquired tooo much stuff.

I have sent up a final run of the Stark Glass for you to play with.
I think I've shown you my virtual glasses that I had on me when I was brought here. I've made them here with a few tweaks.

• They retain their networking capability, although currently there are only two pairs.
• They retain audio functionality for communications, although I have not been able to replicated the image projection here yet.
• They retain their heat scans, vital sign scans and can store that data, sending it back to my server here for later reference.
• Photograph taking, search capability, voice commands, directions, etc

I can tweak them more if you want more for them.

I have all the electrical layouts ready to submit to the electricians. I've planned out to wire the house so that each main room has a hard-wire internet connection, as well as cable, phone, security and each breaker circuit should be able to handle gaming systems, computers and more without overload. The electricians probably aren't going to like me much for doing it this way but they'll have to deal.

I've also drawn up security plans and have them ready to go when we are at that stage.

I actually am glad to have so much to do. It keeps me in that happy busy state of mind. Which speaks volumes to my lack of a life outside of work.

After what happened to me last year during our little Prom, thing, ah think ah'll be avoidin' any and all Halloween shenanigans this year. Between trainin', workin' and working on the building, ah've kept really busy. it's helped me get over losing mah friend

Anyone want to join me fer a dinner out sometime, so ah can remember ah'm not just a workaholic?

You know, I've never actually gotten dressed up for Halloween before. We always had a feast at Hogwarts and with the war, there wasn't a lot of time for parties and the like. I have to admit, I'm looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to the Halloween party. I don't know how it'll compare to the feasts at Hogwarts, which are admittedly brilliant, but it'll definitely be a good bit more fun than the last Halloween I had was.

Today's spooky, halloween themed sale is rose petals, three dollars a cup.

Hardly the most seasonally appropriate, perhaps, but we came into rather a lot of them this morning. Any unsold will be freeze dried this afternoon, but they've such a brighter essence fresh.

Finally back in town, and all I can think about is how empty the tower feels without everyone. Guess I should try to make friends outside of the ones I already had.

I was going to wait a while to get involved in any local law enforcement, see if I wasn't going to get sent back, but man, I've just never been very good at being on vacation. Talked to the SHIELD folks a few days back, and now I'm working on paperwork for the NYPD. I imagine it'll be more like the FBI than small town Haven PD.

You know, I missed Wednesday. Kind of seems like this might be a good week to do a Friday meeting. I hear the coffee is better.

As you are all aware, for the past few months, I have been using various means to gain information on the on the Phoenix Project. While at their front they look like a refugee-friendly charity specialising in low-income and emergency housing, a few of their recent land acquisitions have left those looking at the accounts with a few questions.

Using Jesse Pinkman as an inside man, and Sherlock Holmes (Sir Julius Pepperwood) and John Watson (Bunny Manders) to pose as interested wealthy investors, we've managed to gain a number of... loose ends which I believe need tying up not by me - but by the local authorities. I believe they are up to something illegal, I believe money (at the very least) is being laundered.

Tonight, we go to the police. Or rather, we bring the police to us. In the absence of Moriarty, I have enlisted Sherlock Holmes (Khan) to play criminal mastermind. He shall be staging a robbery which will be intercepted by Iron Man, during which time the NYPD will be notified anonymously. Iron Man will have on his person all of the information we've already collected, which he'll have "lifted from the thief" who has somehow managed to slip away, this turns the Phoenix Project facility into a crime scene, and hands over our evidence directly to the authorities.

Temperatures at night are beginning to sink low enough to justice hot cider and rum. It was always about this time of year that any guest that found themselves crossing my parent's threshold came with at least an apple pie or two. My father was well-respected in Glen St. Mary, the doctor town, everyone had one miracle or another they thought they ought to thank him for. The kitchen always smelled like warming pies... all the way up until Christmas, usually, when the apples gave way to Mincemeat.

It's incredible, the things that catch you by surprise and remind you of home.

In light of it being the middle of October, I feel like it's a good time to go costume shopping.

Not that I actually give a crap about Halloween, but they make. . .other costumes.

I do miss Kitty, she was my best friend and all, but I'm really glad for her that she gets to go home. She's alive, so obviously that's always good. Unlike the time when I And she wasn't my age any more, but I've been making some friends a little closer to my age (like, under 20) and doing cool stuff with them. Hi, Cassie and Dawn and Sadie!

Okay, I THINK I might've finally stabilized one fixed portal on the third floor to use as my stepping disc go-between since there's no Limbo to access here. But I've been having serious trouble actually popping up the stepping discs where I mean to and getting them bound to the portal. Like, sometimes they just bounce back when I try to enter them or put something in them, like I've bumped into a padded wall. Or instead of coming up around me or near me, they spring up somewhere far from me. And, uh, that could make for some wacky times for anyone who stumbles across them. Especially if they literally stumble across them and tumble in.

So if we have any accidental guests arriving inside the Sanctum Sanctorum... oops?

This building has a thirteen floor! Isn't that something? Come so far from clinging to superstitions! And braver still, hosting a party on said floor! Brilliant! Like laughing at the devil himself. Therapeutic practice, that. Or should I say invigorating? Both. I'll say both. Less serious and life threatening though (I hope). The party, I mean. Not laughing at the devil.  Don't do that. Not unless you've a black hole handy.

Now, there being a party at all poses some conundrums. Do I attend and if I do... I am then in need of a costume! Can't go as myself, but can I go as an old self? Wear a leather jacket and, no... no, I'll not sacrifice my hair for being cool. A white suit, dapper fedora? Oh! Oh, yes! I know! I could go as someone not me who happens to look, talk, act, and think like me, thus is impersonating me, but really I'm still me, and hush it's a mental and utterly lazy costume riddled with secrecy except that you're now aware of it. Bollicks. Oh, it's not even Halloween yet and I'm already exhausted considering my options! Doesn't it seem a bit odd, asking famous faces of supposed fiction to wear famed outfits when a healthy portion of the lot of us are already utilized as such in this universe?

But then again, that is the fun of it, isn't it? Because we are all quite real in our respective universes, and we've all been prone to doing some pretending for kicks and grins.


Why a stick of greenery on the lapel though? Couldn't it have been a banana? I like bananas. Delicious, yellow, and they'd have gone much better with that color scheme. Nope, nope already too complicated. 'Fraid that may cause its own paradox anyway. Have I gotten myself in a thought loop? Suspect that means I was supposed to be grading something. Right, then! Back to it.

While debating my options for the future I also have come to realize something, I need a life beyond the gallery. So the Halloween party is also going to mean me actually having a social life again.

The party invitation I received said "costumes required." We didn't really have Halloween-- when I was a child, they started to try to connect Obon and Halloween (Tokyo Disneyland had something to do with that, I believe) Then after K-Day, holidays weren't that important.

What I'm trying to say is that this is my first party in a long time.
