On behalf of Tony Stark and Stark Industries, I would like to apologize for the danger we have put you, the refugees of the Tesseract, in. There are not words for how very sorry we are.

As many of you are already aware, we have installed new and ungraded security to the building following the Mandarin's attacks on Stark properties. What does this mean to you? Not much. You're allowed in the building any time, there's just a few extra precautions. There are now retinal scans to get onto the elevators. It's just an extra precaution to make sure that you are safe in your own home. You'll also notice extra security guards downstairs. They've been keeping the protesters to the other side of the street so as to not obstruct your way in and out of the building.

While we cannot financially support Refugees who decide to live outside of Potts Tower, as of now, the Refugee Network will be available to anyone with the proper password. Your Stark phone will still automatically connect to it. We have Stark pads and computers available to those who wish to move out of the building, which will be our token gift to anyone in the building who would like one.

At this time, I will answer any questions that you might have about recent events and this announcement.

Well, I'm staying. Free rent and no utilities in one the most expensive cities around? You can't beat that. I'll end up sleeping in a closet in a sleeping bag on my paycheck, if I want to stay in Manhattan. And I've gotten used to this huge bed and huge bathroom. They've spoiled us here and I'm not trading down.

It is too bad Dr. Pym isn't here, though. He'd probably get a mansion for us somewhere.

It's nice they're making it easier to leave the tower, but I think I'll just stay. The protesters are easily ignored, security alright enough and wherever we are can be attacked. No point in uprooting what we're making here.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to know the people I'm fighting with. I mean, there's obviously a certain amount of bonding that happens when you get into a fight with someone, but it's also nice to know who's going to be watching your back before you actually get into that situation. So, here goes.

I know some of you already, but not all of you. For those of you I haven't met, my name's Sam Winchester. You can call me Sam. I'm a hunter, and have been since I was a kid. That means I've been trained to fight all kinds of evil and I've been doing it (with the exception of a few years when I went off to college) for as long as I can really remember. And 'evil' is a key word there because I know we've got vampires on our team. I haven't been hunting any of you so far, and the fact that you've signed up to help with the vampire problem isn't going to change that. If anything, it's a point in your favor.

What are you thinking about in terms of moving or staying? Cas, I know you don't really even stay in the tower anyway, especially lately, but I wasn't sure if you'd have an opinion.

Personally, I've been here a while and I've gotten used to my room and my job (which would be much less convenient with an extra commute), but I'm not opposed to the idea if any of you are set on getting a different place. I don't want to go far, though; I mean, we have to account for the fact that as long as the tesseract is operating, any of the people we're missing could come through. Or any of the things we really don't want to come through, too, and we should probably be around to handle that. That's the main reason that Dean and I originally decided to stick around in the first place.

That said, much as I like the tower and the people in it, I would like a break from it. A trip would be really nice, pretty much anywhere out of the city. I'm not used to being in one place this long, especially a big city like this.

I appreciate the additional security that we have been offered here in light of the attacks. I don't believe the presence of the protestors is what makes such measures necessary. I, for one, have heard far worse things here from people who aren't a part of that crowd. I'm not a toaster

With that said, there's an aspect of the security that I wonder about. I assume that ground floor stairway access is a necessity for fire safety. Are there retinal scanners to access the stairwells?

And for those of us with a somewhat... different relationship to computers, is there anything we should be aware of regarding how these scanners function?

This came up in Sam's introduction post, but I thought posting it here might raise awareness.

I had thought it might be nice if we could do a bit of training together - and maybe more informal sparring - to get a feel for our individual strengths and weaknesses. I don't know about any of you but when I go out as a team I like to know what my team-mates can handle. Some of you I've fought alongside before, but others I haven't, and that goes the same for many of you as well.

I realize we all have varied schedules and it may be impossible to get all of us together, but I was thinking perhaps just have open sessions - get the opportunity to meet each other, work together a bit, and be prepared for things if and when they occur.

Right now I'm thinking a morning time, an evening time, and possibly a weekend time and they would be open and recommended, but obviously not required - I'm no one's boss - but I'm open to other suggestions.

ETA; let us know which of those times you're available or if you have a preference if you're interested in doing this. That way if everyone prefers one or two times we can narrow it to just that block and get more of us practising together.
