I really miss teleporting.

I don't know if there's more potential for me to learn teleportation spells, or to find another way to conjure up my own stepping discs that use somewhere else as the go-between. I've never known very much about how my power works, like is it only that I can summon discs that already exist or can I actually create them?

I wonder if the protesters would go away if we made cupcakes or cookies for them? I mean, I guess it's easy to understand why they're upset. It's kind of strange, the way we're arriving here like this.

Maybe instead of avoiding them, we need to engage them. Talk to them. Let them know that we're people too, and a lot of us are scared people who just want to go home. Or...stay here, but not hurt anyone.

So okay what was the point of this. The Tesseract is a door. When Thor couldn't come back, it was because the Bifrost was broken. There are many people from the same place-- there are people that go back many times. (I'm wondering if maybe you guys are all coming from different timelines, all splitting off the moment you come here. Or maybe they're the exact timelines, but that isn't the point). The point is, something happens to bring you here. And something in that timeline needs to be repaired to get you back.

Given the events of the last few weeks its finally come back into focus especially with my turning 18 next month. But I'm starting to think about my options in terms of the near future and have no idea where to start. I've started a small business designing and selling handmade jewelry after finding out the muggles love unusual designs (I have a booth at a block party for this weekend). But between trying to finish my last year of Hogwarts, hand surgery and the related rehab I'm not even sure which way is up to be honest.

I know I'm not making any sense so can I come by just to sort out my options? University is one of them since I'm working for myself but thinking about getting a part time job once I'm further along with physical therapy.

Okay, I don't know whose idea of a practical joke this is or how I ended up on the crazy train, but let me off! This isn't funny! I was about to get married. I have the wedding dress to prove it, and if there's one thing that you don't want to do, it's mess with a bride on her wedding day!

So, apparently I've been here before. Because this whole thing ain't unsettling enough without being able to look back and see stuff "I" wrote, obviously.

The name's Raylan, for those that missed it the first time around. Used to be a marshal down in Kentucky. Now, I suppose I'm unemployed in New York City. Not exactly the vacation I was halfway hoping for, but I reckon I've had worse weeks.
