I've got my pysch evals lined up next week for work with the NYPD. Closest thing to Auror work as I can determine here. It'll take some getting used to -- the whole not being in charge part -- but I know it'll be worth it.

For those of you who do not enjoy dancing and the like and would wish to have some additional company tonight, I was planning on taking in a muggle film showing of this Star Trek film that some speak of. Will I miss much if I have not seen the previous one to this?

I haven't seen many muggle films. Does anyone have a suggestion of other good films to see?

Sorry to all those here who are from Starfleet... more precisely those who in my world are from the re-boot or original series. I am about to be a Trekkie for a moment and I don't mean any disrespect. I know for you what I see on screen is your reality (or future), but for me it's a movie and I'm reacting to that.

I need to stop emoting at Star Trek movies... I blame Raj. Even though he's not here.
Have to say I like the way they switched things up. But I was still more upset by the original.
Also, come on tesseract, bring us a Scotty.

It's incredible to me both what tools cost and the number of them that can be electric now. I found a shop, and they was able to get me all the stuff I need, thankfully, but there was a bunch of other stuff they was trying to sell me specially when I know how to do it with my own two hands.

Seems like half the tower's in tuxes and the like. I don't usually find it much appealin' to dress up fancy so I think I'll be stayin' in my own apartment. Maybe working on some sketches for this bed I'm going to be makin'.
