Apparently I wasn't firm enough when you brought Vigil Seb the other cat into the flat. However, bringing a pet home - when you share the flat with someone else - isn't a unilateral decision. It requires the votes of all others who live with you. Possibly, even, the cat you already do

I don't see why shopping for dresses is so complicated. Suits for men come in exactly one style. But we have to worry about lilac versus lavender and princess versus a-line, and so many variations of cut and style that I don't know if I even see a difference anymore, except everything I try on I feel there's something better.

What exactly do we know about these Vampires? It would be best if we compile the information we have on them? Perhaps we will be able to find something that could help us? I unfortunately don't have much myself as I haven't encountered one.

After god knows how long of putting the importance of survival and saving the world before anything, I forgot how it feels to actually miss having a wardrobe. Like, really, it was the point during which we stopped living in our own homes that it was all forgotten but now, thanks to being in a world that there is none of that, I'm actually starting to go back to being a normal teenager.

Or at least as normal as one can be with a bunch of animal DNA floating in her blood. Now all I need to do is get back into gymnastics.

So I managed to get a date to the prom.

Is there something significant about this date that I've not been informed of? To my knowledge, it was relevant to the War of the Roses in 1471, but that is hardly a celebratory occasion.

I am a British citizen within my source text & as such I would be an alien in America were I to visit it even in a more normal manner, as is entirely natural. Discussing the marks upon the slate of my former government and its analogue in this world would, I fear, lead us down a different pathway of discussion (though it is one I am quite willing to follow, should it arise), but nevertheless: it is a rather galling thing to move from one situation where I lack suffrage to another.

All right, you lot. I know we've had some talk about this before, but Oliver and I were talking and we think it's time to get serious about playing Quidditch here. Obviously, we'll need enough brooms charmed to fly for two teams, at the least and we'll need to come up with the balls, too, there are enough of us here and loads of brilliant people, so I think we can do it.

The city has been rebuilt to a great extent in the last year. I had not realized how much of the changes in the last two decades had been so recent. Yet still, much of the older parts of the city still stand. Thank you, to those who have defended the city and to those who rebuilt it.
