I'm watching West Wing. If one's Chief of Staff is supposed to be the person who is someone's best friend, but smarter than them, then I think my mother picked the wrong person for her Chief of Staff.

Also if any lady needs a date to this prom, I completed several courses of ballroom dancing, look better than average in a tux and can mix drinks better than average. I'm a fair conversationalist.

I've noticed that many people in this city seem resistant to engaging in a conservation with people they don't know. That's not true of everyone, of course, but I've noticed that talk seems to be kept brief. I miss the exchange of debate. I also miss talking to someone without them constantly looking at a device in their hands. I respect the practice as a custom here, but it's hard not to perceive it as rude.

Alright, I'll try this again. My name is Methos. While I'm a little over five thousand years old, I remember little of my life. I remember flashes here and there of course, such as working on the pyramids, learning the trade of a stone cutter in Petra. My life only really becomes clear when I arrived in Greece. Plato was a good friend. Sun Tzu, one hell of a teacher. I may or may not have inspired the tale of Frankenstein. Anyone, most of it seems to be online. Disturbing.

I'll admit that I wasn't always on the straight and narrow, but that was a few thousand years ago.

And I'm from the Highlander universe. The whole 'there can be only one' catchphrase? That's the one. Okay.

I swear, I'm alive. I just got distracted for a while. Why doesn't Starbucks have a delivery service? They really should get on that. Or someone should invent a delivery coffee place. It'd make billions. But I'm mastering shrinking. And I think I finished with what I was working on. The math checks out and the numbers were good.

Also I think I the first colony of ants is being split. There seems to be another queen. It's lucky i made a really large ant farm.

I need food, and a shower I think. Probably reverse order.
