Pie day is amazing and so is pie! I think I ate twice my weight in pie today and I'm not even sorry about it.

I want to thank all of you who have come to Timeless Tea at some point. You're making this a lovely experience for me! And I was glad to whip up some White Day treats yesterday. I'm so blessed to have good friends here who made the day perfect.

I long for the solitude of the Gates, though, time to time. I fear that the city is terribly busy and sometimes I miss my moments of quiet. But then I return to Timeless and find myself in a serene environment. I love it and am glad it's mine.

Yesterday was amazing! So much pie! Pie is delicious! SWEET PIES! Not just those silly mince pies that are tiny that the humans ate which ruined good meat with crust. But chocolate pie and lemon and pecan and apple and it's all so delightful!

This is technically my first St. Patrick's Day in New York City, so I looked up some information here. It's a good thing for everyone to know that the streets the parades go down will be completely full of people, and you might want to plan routes around it. There will be parties at a lot of the bars, but they might have entrance fees. Watch out for drunken shenanigans and our clinic doctors might want to be on alert.

And by tradition you'll be pinched if you're not wearing green. So don't be surprised if someone ends up doing that to you.

I hope this helps out any newcomers to the state/country/world.

Sometimes I should try to finish something before I start a new project. While my work at SHIELD is interesting I haven't had all that much to do yet. Still it is interesting. I've been here about a day now, and there's one thing I can't figure out.

Why?

When people start going through the Gate, there's a reason for it. You don't screw around with things like that unless you've got something important pushing you to take the risk. Thing is, people are are conspicuously not missing pieces around here, so who's the one opening the Gate in the first place, and with what? Yeah, sure, it's that Tesseract thing, but Tesseract's just a name. There's got to be a trail to who and what.

I'll go ahead and say this right now. I'm going to find that trail, and I'm going to follow it to my brother, and I don't give a damn who gets in my way.
