Hi everyone,

I wanted to invite you all to lunch on Monday. It's a holiday here, and I thought it would be nice to get together. Maybe bring a dish? Something small and quiet so we can be together.

Lady Morgana, I've found some stables for us to visit!

I'm at least thankful for the fact that if a mysterious portal was going to take me anywhere, it'd pick New York. I'm almost certain I want to own everything in the Diane von Furstenberg fall collection coming out.

Now if it could just teleport me over to London for the rest of that fashion week, I'd be eternally thankful. I could use the break from working 14 hour days from now until the end of time.

Guess who made friends with the lead on the NYPD Art Crimes unit? This lady. We're working with them on a missing painting this week, and it has all of us completely stumped. Deputy Inspector Charles Neacy, sweet fellow that he is, took me to lunch yesterday so we could chat a little more candidly.

He thinks it's internal in the family that the painting was stolen from, but so far all the evidence points away from that.

I may have alluded to the fact that I know a few people that could help. He may or may not be a fan of the show.

In case you missed it, Optimus and I are trying to get a group together for the New York International Auto Show. We're hoping for a group of 20 people or so and I know there have to be some more car lovers out there, so how about it? Should be a lot of fun!

Valentine's day is definitely different here than it is back home. It made me miss Mamoru. I bought him chocolate and since he isn't here and probably won't be I decided to eat it. I hope he shows up for White Day because I am not buying myself something.

Actually, I miss all my friends and my family so I'm very glad to have Setsuna here. And new friends too.

For as much as I am trying to spend my time here as if I was given a second chance at life, which I essentially have I am having trouble letting go of parts of my past and not moving on. I know that we can't forget all of our pasts but I'm holding on to a relationship that didn't even really exist from when I came from, holding out hope.

I spent all Thursday thinking about it. They might not ever come but I can't bring myself to accept that, I keep thinking that one day they will turn up. I suppose in some ways he is my best friend but I don't think he'd want me clinging to something that might never happen. I can't help it though.

It has been a fortnight since my arrival in this place. Time flows differently and it feels as if the days merely pass as seconds. I wonder how time flows where I am from - does it follow in accordance with these days or exist separately? I am plagued with many such questions. Have they marked my absence or has life simply stopped?

Should I ever return will I remember? Might I leave a note upon my person to find when I wake at home? A reminder of what was, what is, and what shall be.

There is a saying that 'time will tell' of all things, and yet I find myself remarkably impatient for it to come.

Despite knowing I was fictional and watching my television show as well as reading up on information I never expected to find things to do with myself on the internet. I was on Tumblr and I found pictures of my mission to Abydos, featuring myself and Sha're who would become my wife.

There are times being here when I think Women shi anquan and there's no one after me and River here. Then there are times I see a man dressed a certain way and I think there's no way this man can't be part of the Alliance. Some of these men smile at me, some of them barely notice me. It's a strange feeling to shake, that of being followed.

Yesterday I went to Central Park to a sword dance festival. I had never seen anything like it before. I was told that it was practiced in northern England and since we came from that country I wanted to see what it looked like. The dancers were wonderful! I did not know that man-feet could move so fast, they moved as fast as rabbits. I wish I could have stayed and watched them forever but it was very cold so I came back home.

I have signed up for more classes and am learning a great deal more about living as a man. I am still not sure how I feel about it though but it is getting a little bit easier.

I found a card game on Thursday.

In a lot of ways it's simpler here - no shifting, so the rug doesn't fly out from under you as often, and the stakes are a little more straightforward. But there's something about having to pick up and throw in and lay down static, physical cards that makes it all feel really clumsy. I don't mind the simplified deck so much, or the hand hierarchy instead of straight scoring, because that just means you spend your energy on different things, but the paper ... I don't know.

There's an angel here by the name of Xaphania. Her story appears to be similar to Lucifer's from our universe but she claims to be a better version of him. Given the trend of creatures that come through the tesseract, I suppose that's possible, but from personal experience I don't honestly think it's likely. So just... be careful. Please.

I am a cylon. I thought I had finally died back on Earth, but it seems that God and the angels are not done with me yet.

I have read little to convince me that the Tesseract is recognised by this Earth's monotheistic religions as a conduit of divine power. What is known about this thing? Are there other faiths in which it is a symbol?

I'm glad I was on duty when those dogs escaped. While it wasn't at all pleasant, I'm grateful we managed to get it under control and cleaned up quickly enough. Even if it continually smells. It did take me a long time to manage calm them down. I'm grateful that Marian helped me with it, much easier than doing it myself.

Today is my birthday. Today is also his birthday. You have to admit, the fact that I not only look like him, but was born on the same day is quite weird. But the fact that I was born a year earlier is even more so. Considering I'm physically only 28 now and he's turning 41.
