Hopefully this Valentine's Day goes better than last year I haven't been watching that show lately. It doesn't bring much good. But when I found out this one showed my brother, I have to admit I was curious enough to break my own rules. I never knew him, so I've always wondered what he was like.

I didn't expect him to be such a terrible, selfish person.

I don't know what I'm expected to feel for him, but I mostly pity him. My life has had its share of troubles, but I am happy and I have a family I love. He never had that.

Isn't she pretty? She's a bit bigger than Smudge, my fire spider back home, but at least if she's on my shoulder or head she won't burn me when she gets upset or frightened. I have a tank and all sorts of other things and some very detailed instructions on how to take care of her that I spent hours reading last night. I didn't know spiders in this world were so fragile! But it doesn't matter. I'd stand on my head to keep her safe and sound if that's what it took. She's just so lovely.

Now I just have to think of a name for her.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I am looking forward to eating ice cream and pie until I pass out in a food coma. Actually, no I probably won't. I'll probably eat a bowl of ice cream and a slice of pie then head out for a workout. I have a bunch of Valentine's to go out, too. It's a good afternoon.

Crichton took me out for helicopter lessons a few days ago. I missed being in the air, but the contraption took some getting used to. The Peackeeper technology is nothing like Earth technology. It's more sophisticated, less bulky. You can move a prowler with the slightest of touches. I felt like I was playing one of those arcade games instead of flying. While the thought was intended to make me feel more at home here, I'm afraid it managed the complete opposite. It made me miss my prowler. It made me miss space. It made me miss Pilot.

What is this frelling Valentine's Day everyone is going farbot over? What is this red shape that is all over everything?

Demigods, I hope that you will accept this child into your ranks, for its life will be just as difficult as yours have been, no doubt, although I hope that I may rectify some of the mistakes I made with Luke.

This afternoon I decided to take a look at all the big websites these days - tumblr, facebook, pinterest, twitter and youtube. While I can see the use of them I have to say I got the most distracted on Youtube especially after I discovered The Guild. Has anyone else seen it or now of it? Does anyone else use the other websites as it is? From what I can tell they would be best with other people added so it seemed slightly pointless joining at that particular moment. Still they look rather interesting.

I have also been looking into the television shows, movies and books that have been published and aired since my time. I have tried to go with the top ten of each from each of the years but even then that is a slow process with everything else that I am undertaking. That and I'm not al that interested in some of thing. What is up with that 50 shades series anyway? I took one look and ran the other way.
