Anyone else have a feeling of dread when they think of home? Not that you can do a thing about it, but that something doesn't feel right.

Is it possible to take things off of the internet? That people write about you, about events that never happened?

For all my complaints about having been brought here against my will, I admit I'm relieved to have been brought to a place where information is readily available. It seems I've come at a time where politics are in the spotlight. At the very least, it's good to see some things aren't too different when it comes to this.

I don't wish to be assumptive, of course, but I assume both of you had the chance to see the new 'trailer' for what will be your future unfolded for the entertainment of others? A clear enough statement of how I feel about it, I'm sure.

But what about you. Regardless of what people have said about their futures and yours, already, how do you both feel about seeing proof that [...] it never truly ends.

So have you talked to mom?

You know, having someone jaw your ear off with all his theories about every terrible thing that's ever going to happen to you is enough to make you miss the days when people only talked to you in bars to tell you to pay your tab or get the hell out. And I like to think I don't stand on ceremony - I'm a nice guy. Laid back. Friendly. But where I come from, if you come up to someone and start talking about all the ways you think they might bite it, it's assumed that you have what we might call intentions.

Anyway, Ridgewood's off the list for new neighborhoods. Probably should have figured a place that brags about its cemeteries wouldn't know how to pretend to be normal.

And does everyone just accept that they've been brought here against their will? I have a bad feeling about this.

I know it's impossible to really make preparations were something like what happened last weekend to happen again, but we must be able to think of something. I feel like it is our responsibility, if nothing else, to try to do something.

Were you caught up in that mess last weekend at all, Solo?

Last year at this time I was sitting in SWORD medical, probably still in a healing trance, who knows. I've been here a year, and that's really weird to think about - for me anyway. But it's been a good year and I don't really know how to say most of the stuff I feel about it, but it felt worth acknowledging.

On a completely different note, why did no one tell me there was a Star Wars ap, and that it would let me do this ? Or this ? Or this ??

Anyone who gets texts from me regularly, you will have droids and lightsabers aplenty from now on - you've been warned.

Also, tomorrow there's going to be a lot of random Star Wars stuff revealed, apparently. It'll probably be weird. I'm considering a competition to take the weirdness out - like, most realistic likeness, most absurd (if you can beat the Death Star Beach Ball that I saw this summer, then seriously, there will be a prize), that sort of thing. If you know, there's any interest.

Also. I think this whole having been a year here thing is almost as weird as my birthday. Like, it's a year extra from what I would have had. An actual year, not just hitting my next birthday. I don't know - I don't really want to focus on it, but it's sort of hard to not think about if that makes any sense at all.

The thing about it is, there are places the law can't reach. Even just on one planet. You have to be ready to fix your own problems, in my experience. And that's not a bad thing. It's usually better than the alternative.

So I was trying to read like a real news story. On a website. On a news thing. Like, with stuff. News stuff. Although i think it was on the daily mail so i guess not really news stuff. News-like stuff.

Except I don't remember what it was or anything about it or if I ever found the article because this happened.

Frankly there is nothing I could have been looking up that would have been more important or interesting than spontaneous dolphin attacks.
