I gotta say -- I've had my fill of shiny, mystical objects. You'd think one was more than enough for a lifetime, right? It's almost as if the flashing blue light wanted to activate the project I was working on. [...] And if it did, then I know where the next shot from my weapon is going to go.

Now, down to business. Quill, those stiffs in the uniforms said you were here, and this better not be one of your damn 12% plans.

I've had time to read a book this month, which means I'm going to be at the book club tomorrow night. It's refreshing to read something that isn't accompanied by photographs of hideous diseases.

I'll admit that I haven't been paying as much attention to the Butterfly girl's situation as I possibly should have been - but I do find it truly troublesome that she disappeared. In my experience people disappearing has never been a herald of anything good.

All these summer classes do give me the opportunity to stay inside where it is cooler, which is something to be grateful for.

I had a great deal of fun at Pride last week. I've never seen anything like it or been to anything like it. I'll admit I was a bit hesitant at first but I only needed to mention my name and the reaction was extraordinary. I did get called 'Ickle Dumbles' quite a lot but it was rather funny so I don't mind.

I am very tired of being subjected to the tesseract's whims. The only small mercy of this is that I am at least the same height and general build and thus my clothes still fit.

At least the tea isn't too different here. That's a relief. If only I could say the same for the cakes.

The tesseract has been good enough to send through a few of my books. Perhaps if I stay here long enough, I might end up with the entire contents of my library at home and at Hogwarts.

This is wicked! And disconcerting, at the same time. That glowing blue object did me quite the favour, getting me out of juggling multiple eggs in the name of entertainment. Now I've had the whole explanation about why and how I'm here from those super helpful people when I arrived, but I'm much more fascinated by this item they've given me. They say its called a phone? Such a strange name. I don't suppose anybody I know is here also?

I keep thinking I'll find it, but I have utterly and completely misplaced my tablet, like all weekend. I know this is a longshot, but I don't suppose anyone found one laying around the tower somewhere? I could have sworn it was in my kitchen, because I'd been using it for a recipe earlier in the day? But.. it's gone. So, I'm hoping for a miracle here I guess.

And for those who knew him, Remus Lupin has also been returned home.
