I seen folks gettin allowed back in, but since I ain't been here too long, I'm lackin a bit of information on who all here and where they at. Kinda like a blind caimon in an unfamiliar swamp right now.

We've gotten a distress call from Potts Tower. People are acting out, some violently.

All cells suit up and get to the tower as soon as possible. This is a rescue mission, but be ready to take people down. We're going for a non-lethal approach, these people are civilians and something is controlling them. Those reacting violently are top priority to prevent more injuries or getting loose on the city. Everyone needs to be evacuated.

NYPD has been alerted as well and is helping us set up a barrier to keep people out of the area, which seems to be located within the tower, and to keep anyone inside in unless evacuated by us. Trainees we need assistance on the barrier.

Medical, be on standby as victims are being relocated to med bay. From preliminary reports looks to be similar to the train attack that we experienced only now we have super powers in the mix. Be on your guard.

I was thinking, since we have Labor Day this weekend, that we should take advantage of the end of summer as it were and have a cook-out in one of the parks around here. We can sort out who brings what once we have numbers.

There is about a 50% chance of rain for Monday, but I'm optimistic and we're all somewhat waterproof. Plus that might make it less crowded.

And please note that you don't have to be a mutant to take the course. Anyone who is interested in mutant history and culture is welcome to take it, but please note that it will be very much from a mutant pride standpoint. I'm also offering a class in Psionics. If you have telepathic, telekinetic, or other psionic abilities, or you want to learn defensive techniques against psychic attacks, that will also start this semester.

Alex suggested that it was time for another X-Men retreat. Due to the currently crippling amount of ennui and angst, I am inclined to agree.

I've made arrangements for us to enjoy Saturday night and Sunday morning of this weekend at Fillmore Glen State Park. It's not far, so consequently we will be enjoying the pink bus for a shorter amount of time. Bus songs and abject joy continue to be strongly discouraged. I've reserved some cabins for the overnight portion of the retreat. Please RSVP if you are able to attend.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing you don't care about. Relaxation will be earned.
