It is so beautiful outside! And I am almost finished with my finals and am ready for graduation. That is a bit daunting, since it's actually here, but I still have time to get into the college of my choice, so I suppose that it's not a bad thing.

And how amazing does the city look all decorated for Christmas?

I'm really getting excited for Thanksgiving this year! I'm really really excited. Like stupidly so. I'm so thankful to have this chance, my closest friends around and more. It'll be nice to celebrate.

Well, I am almost ready to graduate, that is very good news. I am working on my college applications, I don't think they're going to buy that I was pulled here against my will, so I will have to come up with something else to say.

Okay... my new minions, completely useless. I would get new ones, but there's not any other good candidates. It's just annoying.

Well I don't know why everyone these days thinks it's on to talk about ghosts and witches and monsters like they was friends and putting them up for decorations (and they're always smiling) or dressing up like silly harmless versions of them. I don't know why everyone acts like it's some game to call out to things what are supposed to be evil. I'm not superstitious very but that's just tempting fate and you won't find me doing it when I walk by a churchyard I do it fast and keep my head down because anything else is just wanting trouble.

So at midnight tonight and tomrrow I'm going to be in bed and the rest of you can have all the trouble you called up and don't come knocking because I won't answer.

Good morning everyone. If you don't know me, my name is Santana Lopez. I was recently hired to be the Potts Tower Youth Center's Recreation Lead. In basic terms, I'm responsible for planning and throwing events for fun.

As former Head Cheerio and best member of a Glee club, and a fun loving girl, I know we will have a good time.

What I'm looking for today is feedback from the younger crowd - what kind of things do you want to see? Are you into video games? Art? Painting? Nerf gun wars? What would you like to see? I want to make sure we cater to everyone but I don't want anything to be lame.

Even with Halloween coming up, I'm feeling very humdrum. Which is surprising in a way because I attended two excellent Halloween parties on the 26th, received and accepted an invitation to attend a Halloween costume party on the actual day, all of my classes are going well, and I have friends here - both in and out of the tower. I have plenty to be happy with here.

I don't know what I'm experiencing is what I recently heard described as a 'funk', but maybe that's it. So Potts Tower, if you're interested in answering my question - what would you do to get yourself out of it/cheer yourself up?

So, judging by the gym we've got a suitably ripped population here. Has anyone thought about modeling?

Brilliant party! I've such a fondness for them. Nothing better than being surrounded by enjoyable company! Was the opportune moment to try out the Sonic Screwdriver drink. Hah! There are some extra things I like about this universe after all.

One bit I don't fancy: A girl in my class this morning told me rather scathingly that I ought to stop alternating the same two suits and dress like a normal 'dude.' Dude. May have said something rude about the consistency of her poor marks in return, but really--what in the world is wrong with the way I dress? The audacity.

Do you think it's ideal for me to procure a greater variety of clothes? What reason does this affect the capacity of one's focus? Baffling sorts of humans, well... more like zombies really at that hour. That have anything to do with the unwarranted criticism? Yes, I am sore over it! I like my suits for a reason!

I miss Serena and Nate. God help me, I even miss Vanessa. She's not actually so bad, though. The party was okay, I didn't get as drunk as I wanted, but the food was actually good and I didn't feel like it was too heavy.

Now I am in bed, watching Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn is amazing as always.

What: Potts Tower Halloween Party! Starting around 7pm in the entertainment center, the entire 13th floor has been transformed for the occasion. Fog creeping along the floors, webs hanging from the ceiling, skeletons popping out of doorways and an assortment of Halloween themed food. Come in costume, there will be a contest!

It's been way too long since I've been on a date. Quick, someone. Ask me out. Doesn't even have to be serious. We can just go see a film, eat some dinner, pretend to be awkward about a goodnight kiss that never happens at the end. I just need to go out.

Wassat "NYCC" stand for? A fella was wearing my hat and I asked him where he thought he was going with it and he said to NYCC.

He said I could get one if someone would learn me to knit or for $24.99. Oh, I think not.

I didn't hit him, I'm feelin that Zoe and Kaylee should give me some credit for that. A round of applause will suffice. Maybe some singing of my praises.

And I need knittin teacher. I'm good with my hands.

Okay. I am making lists of what I need to achieve, and when. I figure I must have a contingency plan for if I don't get into Yale. I am going to apply to some schools in New York also, because while they aren't Yale, they are still good schools. I suppose.

Man the whole month of October always seems really stressful in a first world problem kind of way. You start freaking out because you realize Halloween is just around the corner and you want a cool costume, but you don't have any time or money to put into it. And then you can't decide which kind of cool costume you want. Some of you guys are so lucky. You showed up with cool costumes. Me on the other hand? I'll probably just dress up as a Pacman ghost. You get to eat all evening and it doesn't matter what you look like beneath the sheet.
