While I'm sitting here watching the snow fall, my thoughts are wandering to ESD's next theatrical production. As you may remember, last year we did William Shakespeare's Star Wars - A New Hope. Some people have asked me whether or not we'll continue with the next play in the series, but I'm not really inclined towards that. I'm sure we could draw a large audience with another Star Wars play, especially with the recent Star Wars being such a blockbuster, but that's not what these productions are about. They're meant to be a learning experience for the youth auditioning for them. Personally, I'd like to do something different, to provide a wider range of experience.

Personally, I'd like to put on a musical, but that's just me.

So, right now, I'm looking for suggestions. So, I want to hear from you, particularly those who auditioned before or who may audition in the future. What sort of production would you be interested in performing? Whether you have a specific title in mind, or just a general genre. I'm here for you.

A fair reminder to students and faculty of the ESD.

Regardless of weather on Monday, Regents Examinations will begin on Monday. Classes are otherwise suspended next week unless professors have made alternate arrangements.

Echoing what Kurt said regarding if people need help, my phasing ability makes this weather less of an issue. Admittedly, I might not be able to carry as much as him, but I can certainly use my abilities to be of assistance.

So my first thought on seeing one of these guys was omg how cute (but weird butt, right?). But they could easily hang out with Regina George. I can talk a lot, but they talk way more. And one of them bit my hair when I swooshed away. That's taking it a bit far. I say they go live out their existence far far away from the tower. Like Kansas.

Well so far 2016 isn't off to a great start. Two of my favorite musicians died, David Bowie and Glenn Frey. I only know what they did up until 1985 so I've been looking around online and listening to what is their new stuff to me but to most of you probably qualifies as older stuff. I always thought Bowie was amazing and wondered how he could get any better but he did. The Eagles? Still sounded as good as they did when I used to listen to them on my dad's stereo on Vinyl. I miss vinyl. Anyway, I've been kind of hanging out and just listening to music the past few weeks. Sorry if I've been anti-social.
