Wilde didn't make AbeBooks most expensive purchases this year. Cervantes did. So did Tolkien and Voltaire's paramour.

I guess what Wotton (or Wilde, depending how you see it) said was right - only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about. At least when it comes to financial gain, anyway.

But the real question is, how did they get the Force to unawaken? I'm assuming there are probably new rules to everything and if their version shuts up for a while, I'm going to be upset.

I got caught in one of those cocoons at Macy's, and yesterday a few minor injuries spontaneously healed themselves. It might not be connected - it could also be linked to some things that happened in the couple of hours before I got here - but obviously it could be. The interesting thing is that a few hours later I went to get a video record of it and it wasn't happening anymore, but sometime since then it must have started again because now that cut's gone as well.

What makes Christmas so much more special than all the other holidays this planet has?

i never want this holiday to end. all of these parties people put on, and no one questions if you are truly part of the business they are hosting. it's so very exciting.

I may not fully understand the politics here, but given the Democrats ended their debate with "And may the Force be with you" and the Republicans spent theirs talking about bombing some place off the face of the planet and they're blue and red respectively...

There has been an uptick in incidents with powered individuals in the city as of recent. It had mostly evened out since the White Event incidents. I'll have my team get to work on assessing the situation and report our findings.
