I was thinking about something you said the other day, Katniss, about the excess of Thanksgiving. I thought maybe we could volunteer somewhere, since the holidays here don't hold the same significance to us as it does the people in this world.

I read that when I went back to 12, you and I put together a book to honor everyone we lost. Would you want to do that here?

I feel as though you and I keep stepping off on the wrong foot, really. But I thought I'd apologize for it and try to start again! Because I do understand the reputation Tevinter has and it has always been my desire to return there and sort things out. Not all the people there are bad, and I believe ways can change - I'm sure it's something you understand. That desire to initiate change, that's all I want to do. Except perhaps with less of the Chantry smashy-smash. Marginally less.

Finally, some decorations worth celebrating: Invader knows which Ninja Turtle is the best Ninja Turtle. (Can there be any argument? There cannot.)

He is, appropriately, happily ensconced over Artichoke Basille's on 10th Av. His lesser friends appear to be scattered in as-yet unknown (to me) locations across the city, but they don't get any pizza.

Okay, but the Lucy Maud Montgomery Google Doodle is like the cutest, right?

I could stand to have the weather cooler here.

I don't know if the deals today are better than those on Friday, but it is far more convenient ordering things that I don't need without dealing with the crowds and possible disappointment.

Robin and I have kept all photo's -- and there have been many taken -- of our daughters between us and those blessed to be considered our close friends. Now that they are almost three months and that Christmas is approaching I've decided to share one of my favorites with you.

This month and this year have flown by. Tomorrow, Noah is going to be 11 months, which means that in a month he's going to be 1! Where has the time gone? Before I know it, he'll be the same age as Alexis, the age she should be now.
