It's hard to believe it's mid-November already. This year has gone by just way too fast.

I made a choice to not make myself sit through my show when it came back, two weeks ago. And thus far, I haven't broken that commitment. But seeing advertisements, articles, tweets and other social media-ed opinions has not helped. I feel it might be worse to not be a part of the conversation than deal with the emotional complexities of watching the damn thing.

I don't know.

I just reserved a couple seats at Genomics England's Dr Kári Stefánsson lecture on November 25th. If anyone is interested in going with me, it'll be a free trip to London compliments of Stark Industries. It'll be about identifying the risk factors of diseases and kind of an overview of sequencing applications. SO, you know. Fun science stuff.

well things seem fairly back to normal now. so here's the thing, gonna make a bunch of things for christmas, because finding presents for everyone might be tricky. if anyone doesn't do christmas i'll make you something different, and if you don't want a present let me know.

I can finally wear my amazing winter lucky hat. I know how it looks. Trust me.

It's really the only thing about about cold weather that I enjoy. That and hot beverages.

I don't know what to feel about Thanksgiving though. I just want the food.

Someone just give me food.

You know I heard the refugee population had something like this going on, it's pretty different to see it all in action though. I mean it's neat. Definitely neat. It must be pretty useful for keeping in touch, helps foster a sense of community, and other stuff.

So. Thank you to everyone who helped with the whole black hole thing? I heard a lot of you were involved. As well as all of those other incidents that refugees have helped out with.
