So there's something of an event going on. Monsters, or something, are attacking and people are in trouble. I'm sure there are several already helping but it would be amiss if we didn't extend our hand. Pun intended.

For better or worse, this is the world we've found ourselves in. I cannot sit idly by while others are getting hurt. Solas, remember that favor you owe me? I'm calling it in.

Also if someone knows how to get some armor and a staff, I'd appreciate that. Going out undefended is foolhardy.

So if anyone needs a ride down to this thing in Virginia Beach, I can take six at a time.

Flow of bodies is going the other way, I know, but if anyone gets injured and can safely get back here, I've canceled my Friday night plans, and I have admitting privileges to multiple hospitals in the area. Clinic will have the light on.

I don't know what you guys normally do for medical care. But SWORD and SHIELD have their own divisions, so logic would state. Perhaps you mostly treat in house too with well paid doctors. But if you need medical care outsourced or the ER's your usual go to, just throwing up my name and number. It wouldn't be the first time I've treated a superhero.

Actually, if there's ever a time you're likely to just pass out in a dumpster or otherwise not receive care, just text. And... good luck out there.

So. When do we go?

Thank you to everyone who helped put nursery together. It is nice now. I am ready to have baby. I have eight weeks left. It is very long eight weeks.

I still wish my sestras were here.

Also I wish for pancakes. Does anyone want to come?

I think we're all aware of what's happening on the news. I thought about getting a group of us together to go down and see if we can help at Virginia Beach, but I'm thinking what's probably better is for us to stay here and do patrol in NYC.

Now if any of you are already down at Virginia Beach, that's fine, but for those of you who aren't, and who aren't typically scheduled to patrol on Friday evening, if you're available and willing, let's get you out there too. Stuff like this happens and people get scared and stuff happens, and if we can help keep things from happening then that'll make this city a little better.

Just keep in mind that it may not be supernatural types causing trouble and treat accordingly.

At times such as these, it can feel as though everyone around us is going off to war. It is a familiar sensation, but I know I am not the only one left behind. Who else is still here?
