All the talk of people taking classes lately had me thinking about my own school experience before I left Illinois when I was younger, which in turn had me searching for my favourite poem.

It is good to have returned to Midgard. I found myself eager to come back, if only because I've come to truly appreciate the reputable hot dogs vendors on the streets. classes are fun. it's an odd thing to have missed i think. i'm still not sure what i'll do when i'm all caught up and i'm okay at asl. i'll figure it out though. one day at a time.

Somewhere between work, stopping for a bite to eat in the park, and coming back to the building, this... dog... creature found its way into my backpack. It's wet and muddy and looks like it's still more puppy than dog. Not that it looks much like what I'd call a dog. I can hold the thing in one hand with room left over.

I don't suppose anyone knows a reputable veterinarian?

I am in need of some [...] advice. I am to attend a wedding, and have no idea what to wear, or what to bring.

So there I was at the store, minding my own business and pickin' up a pack of smokes and some twizzlers before I start my rounds, when this dude walks in and shoves me aside and pulls this gun, threatening the guy behind the counter. So of course I kick his ass and hold him down til the cops get there, and in the fight he kicks over a display with those energy drinks and the guy behind the counter ends up saying I had to pay for it.

Plus, I broke a nail.

So school started back this week.

I guess it could be worse. I don't get why they won't let Sabine be my lab partner in Chemistry though. Something about not wanting us to blow stuff up.

I fail to see why Midgard has a burning hole of fire simply hanging about.

The structure of a school year makes very little sense to me. Then again I suppose it is something new to learn and experience.

You've all started your first day of this year in schooling. I'm told you all are required to have certain supplies and I've created a stack of notebooks, pencils, rulers, and whatever else was on the list that I could find should you need extra supplies.

If you find you need any adjustments to your schedule within reason let me know. Also if you're in need of extra tutoring then I'll be sure to assist in helping locate one for you.

I can't say I've hallucinated about the Old World often but storming a cazador nest is never one of my brighter ideas. Sure they say it's not one and my levels seem normal so I don't know why I would be hallucinating. But hey you never know. Maybe I've finally lost it.
