Oh really apple. We needed to reinvent the pencil?

why not reinvent the ox cart or the vacuum cleaner for irrelevant inventions.

I kind of like that they're trying to bring back the watch - when it's smartphones that are the reason people don't really wear them anymore to start with.

Now a smartwatch might have a point to it, you know. You don't need a pocket, it's right there and being on the wrist even gives the ole pedometer a boost.

Not an applewatch mind you, which I don't see why they don't call it an iWatch, kind of goes with their corporate thing, really

It's almost like iWatch makes too much sense. Maybe they're moving away from the iThing? Like it'll be an ApplePhone 1 instead of an iPhone 9, or whatever number they're on. I don't know, I use Google phones.

As well you should. The newest Nexus, I wept.

Right? For me -- You know, iPhones won't even let you connect with the WPS button, so like what's the point. I would much rather snoop around and find someone's router than ask for a wifi password at a party.

I like you too, Roy Trenneman. You find a good IT gig yet?

Well I've been looking, but it feels all the idjits in HR over here think they're in on some grand joke.

As if I won't be trucking up 20 flights of stairs within a week to show them the computer's got to be plugged in to work.

But why can't printers just plug themselves in, Roy?

You're Lara Croft

Yes but most people don't look that far past the buzz. Just watch, come christmas time folk'll be camping out at the apple store to buy a bloody pencil.

Business starts using iphones, and they'll start downloading the apps. And then their phone runs for shit because they downloaded candy crush cuke edition and malware laden pornography bot apps and they can't figure out why that could be but maybe if work wouldn't call so much things'd run faster.

Well hey, come on now. You can't be too harsh on malware. It's probably 90% of what keeps you in business. A good portion of my waking hours goes to deleting toolbars from Captain America's web browsers.

I don't know how he keeps finding them.

Didn't they already reinvent the vacuum cleaner? I met someone who has one that does the vacuuming itself, like a little robot. I'm not sure a pencil needs to be reinvented, but I'm not opposed to the vacuum cleaner myself.
