Nothing like a fun shopping trip for shoes and a new outfit. Spa day this weekend. It's much needed, as is a vacation too. Just don't know where yet.

Picked up Gus early from daycare and Im gonna take him to the park for the rest of the day. I think he's excited already.

I've found out how much a part of my blood the powers of the Nephalem actually were. Being tired and hungry a lot isn't exactly fun, nor is not having my magic. Maybe my mentors were right, with how I kept relying on it. I should look into keeping myself safe without it, in case this is common.

Somewhere the Arch-Mage is laughing and doesn't know why.

At least it's all back now. I'm rather happy about that.

It's been kind of fun, staying in Shuanglong these past couple of days.

I am glad to have my powers back. I don't use them very often anymore, but I missed them all the same the past few days. While I know I'd still be me without them, like I was before I knew who I was, but I don't know. I'd like to think that these powers helped me see who I could be and be a better me.

I think Sully already mentioned this, but with the weather getting warmer and my students clearly getting spring fever, I thought I'd say it once more. Serenity Ranch is co-owned by a number of refugees and is just 45 minutes outside the city with plenty of open space, room to tinker, horses, a growing vineyard, and homemade cider.

ETA: And monthly laser tag.

I'm more than happy to teach anyone to ride who doesn't know how and take you out for a trail ride.

I have to say, having an employer who hosts robot building contests is pretty awesome. Especially when you never know what you're going to see in the lab when you walk in. So I guess having a real job isn't so bad.
