We're two weeks out from New Year's Eve now.

So Latveria's stepping up to the big leagues, and those Rising Tide bastards are back to publish more trouble. Because HYDRA being out there clearly wasn't enough.

I think it might be time we look into expanding our numbers. There anyone who used to be SHIELD who we think might be pulled back? New people with skillsets we could use? Sectors for priority recruitment.

We could sure as hell use some good press.

I had a good time busting out Sammy a brand new Santa Claus suit for the youth center last night for all the kids and a few adults. My lady friend Elsa would have really liked being there, she always had a soft spot for kids and holiday parties. Anyway, if anyone else is needing a Santa Claus before the big day, I have real reasonable rates, I'm free as a bird. And I'm good at it, just ask the ladies who had me do the youth center's party.

On another note, I'm looking for a job. Anyone got any leads for a former Navy SEAL and ex-spy?

Christmas in this modern world is quite exciting, and beautiful. Never in my life would I have imagined that a city, already as full of life as New York is, would become even more beautiful and wondrous as this city has become. While I wasn't at the tree-lighting at Rockefeller Center, I have visited since, and have every intention and desire to do so again. What else should I take in before January finds its way to our calendars, and the holidays are but a magical memory.

Bit of a last minute decision, but I went over to England to visit the parents for American Thanksgiving -- which seemed like a better idea in my head than it turned out to be actually. But of course they were very pleased to see me. Or they would have been, I suppose, if I'd actually gone at all. I should probably call my But I've missed so many festivities here in New York. I have to make up for them, now. I must pack as much Christmas into the next week as humanly possible.
