All right, listen up guys. I've got a panicked call from a friend who just told me that Parker's has been tapped to hold the Donna Karan mishap. Meaning, we have less than 6 hours to pull together a show most venues have known about for the last year. I need everyone in to pitch in today. I realize it's short notice, and if you can't, you can't, but for those of you who can help, I would be so grateful. I need as many able-bodied people as I can get. There's a lot of decorations and furnishings to move to get this right. If you could talk to friends who might be off today... that'd be awesome.

The upside is that Parker's is getting a HUGE payout for this, and I'm giving it all to anyone who helps out today. However many people we have showing up, I'll divide the money (after today's expenses, of course) evenly between all of you.

If you know anyone who wouldn't mind bartending or waitressing for an evening, send them my way too. It's going to be packed.

I've never been a big fan of big city life. I grew up in slightly more suburban areas that allowed for large yards. Sometimes even patches of a meadow or a small wooded area. Central Park is not quite the same. Does anyone have any suggestions for day trips out of the city?
