Has anyone checked the skies, the space in this solar system? Such an unusual event may have begun on earth, but it may have been celestial, a phenomenon or an attack. An enemy capable of that should not be allowed to go unchecked and unchallenged.

Much damage was done to cars at my work yesterday. One person was driving in. Two more were driving vehicles out. Only one had the presence of mind simply to brake and wait out the unnatural blindness. I was able to prevent some damage to the cars, but it was not enough. I should have responded quicker, more strongly, and more broadly. But I still have my job. The same cannot be said of the valet who damaged six vehicles and his arms. His head looked fine.

I can cross off "getting hit by a car" or perhaps "survive getting hit by a car" from the bucket list, not that it was particularly there before. Thankfully, said car was not driving quickly and hit the brakes before, say, pinning me to a store front. I still spent most of yesterday evening in the closest hospital's ER, along with what felt like half of Manhattan. No one freak out though. The car wasn't driving past fifteen - twenty miles per hour, the doctors said, and I'm fortunate. It's mostly a lot of bruises and being told to take it easy.

I want everything we know about yesterday's flash of white. Fesi's calling it a "White Event." But that is coming up empty on the Files. I've got one thing, a reference to an event called the Fireworks in the 1950s in an alternate Earth, from notes off Howard the Duck, so we're taking that with a shaker of salt. Doesn't say much beyond that in any case.

So maybe it's nothing but some pretty lights. Probably more cause it always is. But I want to know what we can expect for the man on the ground. For now Paris seems fine if rioting, which might be its default state.

As I'm sure you've all noticed, we have a situation on our hands that needs to be addressed as quickly as possible.

Some of you -- a number of Avengers who hail from my universe -- were with me the last time something like this happened, and you know what it could mean. While we can't be sure that what we're looking at is the same thing it was in our own universe, I believe it is safe to assume that it warrants our immediate and ongoing attention.

But before we can really go any further, I think a team meeting is in order.

Tonight at 8:15PM at the new Avengers tower. All Avengers teams are asked to attend. Founding Avengers and adult team leaders (over 25) should arrive by 7:30PM for an informal discussion before the group session begins, just to make sure we're all on the same page before we bring our findings to the rest of the team.


And because I know someone's going to ask, yes, we can order pizza.

So I've been thinking. We're not entirely a full set, in a few ways, but we've got people here, and we should be sticking together, right? It's silly, all of us living separate but in the same tower. Maybe they have bigger rooms where we could all stick together better. Keep track of one another better when things happen, not end up alone if someone goes home.

There are a lot of us. Not just us, but everyone from our world, I mean. But we could, I dunno. Take up one whole floor to ourselves, put in new doors between apartments, or secret passageways. Secret passageways would be brilliant. Or make more rooms inside of the other rooms, like a tent. What do you think?
