So, to answer the burning question that I'm sure all of you have had, yes, I can speak normally. But it's so boring.

I wanted to take this moment to thank all of those who attend the meetings on the 13th floor. Tonight's Refugee Support Group meeting will focus on our futures, on the things that we know are to come in our lives but we are nervous or afraid of. All refugees are welcome to attend, and there is no pressure to share if you do not want to. It's encouraged, of course, and as always, I'm available for consultations.

Still no sign of the Rat or the Raven. Or the horse for that matter. So I think it's safe to say that Grandfather did not have a hand - directly or indirectly - in this. It is strangely satisfying to come to that conclusion.

That also means that I'll be staying for a while by the looks of it, and that in turn means that I'll need a job. I'll go mad if I don't do something. One can only explore a place so many times before it becomes a useless endeavour. So, anyone in need of a Governess or a child minder or maybe even a teacher?

It's good to be back from Comic Con. I don't believe it's an experience I'm likely to forget any time soon.

For new arrivals who might be trying to get used to computers and the Internet or would simply like a basic review of what computers are like in this world, there is a class tomorrow at the City Island Library entitled 'Introduction to Computers -Internet and Word' that might be helpful.

For those of you who attended the Potts Tower Town Hall I'd like to let you know that there are groups looking into the various themes that came out of that meeting. If you have any questions about that or wish to be involved contact myself or your Housing Assistant for further details and information. And as always if you have suggestions concerns and so forth feel free to approach your housing assistant with those as well.

This is a check-in to make certain that everyone's Patrol Schedule is still working for them. If you need fewer nights, more nights, different nights, let me know. I'm trying to keep it pretty evenly spread, but I'll do my best to accommodate needs. Right now we only have 4 people on Friday night and I'm planning going out that night this month as needed, but if anyone wants another night and is willing to take it let me know.

And for those of you who excel at research & magic this is a follow-up on a request that Caroline Forbes had made regarding the possibility of something akin to the Sanctorium Spell that Lorne had the Transuding Furies cast on his bar. It is essentially a spell that doesn't allow physical violence within a specific area, something that can be useful when you have a number of vampires, demons, and humans in a particular area together. Caroline would like to have something like that, but I don't know about the feasibility of casting that particular spell here. If someone would be willing to look into that, or look at other possible options I'm sure she'd be appreciative. And Caroline if you have other options or requests - let them know. It's been a while since we spoke about this.

Sharon got wind of a rowhouse in London that was used as a cover for a system of tunnels. This was pretty common for spies to use during the Cold War, but apparently Buc Winter Bucky's been here before. We're not sure how long ago it was being used for him, or what kind of presence is still there, but I'd like to find out. We'll see if we can pull up some maps to tell us what we might be dealing with underneath, but we'll need someone to go scout the area above ground too. I don't want to go in entirely blind. Any volunteers before I start making nominations?

So, I have discovered that the worst of myself comes about when I'm lonely and bored. I mean, I'm fairly certain I knew that anyway, but it's all become much more startlingly obvious in the last month. I may also have an odd idea about havoc. I'm just saying, River bored is River creating lots of issues for anyone who might cross her path. Expect that to keep happening, if you've been a part of it so far.

In other news, who wants to go out and do something boring and pedestrian? Movies are an option. So is a bar. I'm not promising I'll behave, but I can promise to try! Also, I do make an amazing friend if you can help me keep amused. (Clearly, I need to get out more)
