On the 47th floor, in Electrical Engineering, an employee named Mike Dillon tested a kind of electromagnetic device that he'd been working on in an unofficial capacity. We have records of this project being brought before the leads of his creative team and being rejected. His test resulted in power surges, electrical failures, and fires to spread through the building. But there is no major or structural damage, so normal work should be able to resume come Monday. Growing up isn't as scary as I would have imagined it to be. There are some fuzzy memories about my future, but over all I think I remember being pleased with how my life was going. Bit strange seeing this place through future eyes though.

The three of us are some of the highest ranking SHIELD agents left. And I know each of us has had our own projects to attempt to bring back and help agents caught in this crossfire.

And from channels that can be tapped into it seems there are moves being made against HYDRA in Europe. Whether either of you are involved in that is another story. We all know SHIELD isn't dead and I'll be damned if I see those ideals, good ideals, go to waste.

And I would think I'm not the only one who feels that way. Which means we should be working together.

It does also bring up the idea of funding. We can only do so much without some sort of funding.

July had a good many excellent moments, including a much needed holiday and a very interesting experience at San Diego Comic Con.

It's deeply fascinating, sometimes troublesome, and sometimes touching how much people here are invested in our lives. I had a young man tell me that he went into astrophysics because he watched our show on reruns when he was ten and never could get space out of his head. He's hopeful before he grows old there will be a way for normal, every day people, to visit beyond Earth's surface, and perhaps there will be. I certainly hope that for this world as well. I miss space travel more than I can say.
