It's both odd and fascinating to watch the development of science and technology here, particularly space travel and exploration.

Apparently they're looking into developing warp space travel and one of the prototypes is called the IXS Enterprise. One of those moments where life imitates art imitates life?

So this is really real, isn't it? Since I've arrived I have had this small thought at the back of my mind that this must be a dream, and that I was going to wake up in my own bed. When I just arrived I've had that thought ALL the time, but I don't think I had it once today. At least not until now when I started thinking about it.

I think I like it here. I have my sister and wonderful new friends. I also have a map.
