How are you settling in?

Officially summer. Now I can work a little more and spend a little more at the bookstore. There are so many books I want to buy and I've got plenty of time to read them this summer. I've found a challenge floating around the internet about all the books I read in the show and decided that since I'll read them at some point, I'll just skip them for now and read books written in the past decade.

I'm letting everyone know that Kate and I will be moving to a bigger apartment because I could really use an office now that I am going to work with Kate part-time. Well, after talking to Donna a bit about travelin' I decided that I was going to just head out to Alaska a bit as soon as I've got my current orders done. I think I'm gonna take the train to Seattle and then take some ferries up to Alaska itself. Then I may just stay out there for a bit -- haven't decided for certain how long, but I'll probably be leavin' around mid to late-July or so. Still got a couple of tables to finish.

However since it is not due to come out until 2017, we have ample time to prepare. Or hope that we get taken home, whichever is your preferred option.

Now that we've officially decided on it, I thought I should probably tell you that Castle and I are moving. Nothing elaborate, just across the hall to get a little more space. That said, we need some help both in moving out some of our furniture and in replacing the things that are provided by the Tower back into our old place. And, you know, putting the current stuff that we don't need from the new apartment into storage.

Dinner, drinks, and eternal gratitude are provided free of charge.

It's good to know, at the very least, that the only monitoring devices put on us were those trackers. Putting them in our homes would've been much too invasive. And I don't think I could've stood another nasty surprise this month.

Hey guys! I know things have been totally crazy but I hope you're all settled back in now. If you need anything at all just let me know.

Also, if you took your SHIELD tracker out yourself, I'd really recommend going to the clinic to let them check the wound to make sure everything was done properly and that it's healing well and without infection. There are people at the clinic who are refugees just like the rest of us and they're only interested in your well-being.

Dr. Malcolm, I know you've been here a few weeks now, but if you'd still like me to come over and do my new arrival spiel now that things are a little calmer I'd be glad to.

I know the last few weeks have been tense, to put it lightly, and it doesn't look like that will change any time soon. While it's undoubtedly a complicated and disturbing situation for me, I was rather pleased to learn that if anyone should have to replace me before my time, it was you. I wouldn't have necessarily thought back home that you were quite ready yet to be Queen, but I trust in the soundness of the monarchical trials and election.

In any case, though it came sooner than expected, I did rather think this could have been in your future, so I am not as shocked as I might have otherwise been. I'd like to congratulate you. I hope your reign is secured soon. Our people, as I'm sure you have learned already, are resistant to change. The royals in particular will reject, almost immediately, anything that they feel is thrust upon them, but you'll find that gradual steps can be taken with the right amount of calculation.
