It turns out that protestors don't appreciate you if you threaten to shoot them. But, to be fair, he was both annoying and standing between me and my coffee not that it mattered, since I got sick from drinking it an hour later. No one comes between me and coffee, especially before the sun is up.

Medical Examiner's office called (at 6 a.m., but I told them to wake me up if need be), DNA and fingerprint results are in from the bite marks on Meier's neck. The fingerprints don't match to anyone in the NYPD system or any federal database that logs such things so the guy doesn't have a record, and the DNA is useless until we have someone to match it too. But DNA doesn't lie, so once he's caught, he's done for.

I'll bring the updated file back to the Tower, let everyone take a peek at it.

I didn't personally know Norman Osborn, but he was about 10 years (and well, one multi-national corporation) ahead of me when I got my start in Manhattan, and I must say he was always somewhat of an aspirational figure. New York's lost a good man.
