Guys, we've got a bit of a situation here. Angel's not exactly himself. Will, I know you just got here and you're not current, but I really need my big gun to help with protection spells. If Angelus is out and about, you can get he's making an army. Or at least minions.

If anyone is still awake at this hour (which I would assume so because there's few people who go to bed crazy early like me),... it seems as though I might have gone overboard with baking in a fit of trying to distract myself in lieu or trying to improve my cupcake frosting skills. Angel's lost his soul. We're going to take every precaution, okay? Holy water, crosses, UV flashlights, not going out alone after dark, and so on. He's already looking for ways to piss me off and, since he knows me, he probably knows the best way is by hurting someone I care about. It's trick number one in the bad guy book, because it works. I'm going to be working with the Slayers and Watchers from his world to get it taken care of.

I am not entirely certain whether my cats are punishing me for being away for so long, scolding me because they were worried I was away or whether they're just happy to have me back. Or possibly I am just anthropomorphising perfectly normal behaviour. Either way, I'm starting to get used to having two cats staring intently at me at all hours of the day. It's rather like being in the same room as Bellatrix Lestrange. Though admittedly without the malicious feeling that I'm going to be stabbed in the back at any moment.

The last time I was here, I was under the impression that this place was only just starting out with their heroes and the city's people would still be in its awestruck phase. Turns out, people are already fed up with superhumans using their fire escapes and crashing their rooftop parties when some of us need landing spots. Good job, Tesseract.

Elevators are just too slow for me, and a girl's gotta get around. Besides, this one hombre's party looked like it could use some excitement anyway.

So, the good news! There are cupcakes. Ok, cupcakes at the house, so Miles, just swing by room 2103 if you want some. Janine's used to the knock on the window, drive thru method, so don't be shy!

Which, yeah, the good news means bad news, right? So, word is that Angel might be back to the not so happy Angelus part of his vampire history. What's that mean? In general, bad nebulous stuff possibly going on. More specific, I've got some crosses for people to toss on for extra protection and don't go inviting strangers into the house, no matter how dark and broody they might be. There's also the high possibility of an upswing on vampire activity, so that's something to keep an eye on during patrols. We can Netflix an episode or two if people want an idea of what we're looking for.

So, questions? Comments? Bad jokes?

Angel is not on this filter. We have reason to believe that we may not be dealing with Angel currently - but rather Angelus - for those of you unfamiliar with our universe, the short version of this is that he no longer is a vampire with a soul, but a vampire without a soul. Angelus is nasty, manipulative, and dangerous and we don't believe he is currently in the building but if he should return he could cause rather a lot of damage.

Faith is going to be doing patrol in the cities. Some of the rest of you may be otherwise engaged as well, but for those who are available, I'd like to set up a rotating watch throughout the building to hopefully catch him should he come back in. If you're available, please let me know. If you aren't available you may still wish to brush up on what Angelus has been known to do.
