The Doorway: a panfandom game

Alright. So everyone should be settled from the move and if you've missed that we're guarding the Tesseract I've got nothing.

But because we have the Tesseract, we have a few more rules in place.

• We are splitting up into pairs and taking 8 hour shifts. Hansen and Kaidanovsky 2200 to 0600. Jones, you're with me 0600 to 1400, Harkness and Gaige 1400 to 2200. I'll try to have a pot going at shift change.
• People arrive. We calm them down, give them a pamphlet, escort them to holding. We keep up our schedule on drops. If we get a surge of people, flag me and I'll set up a special one but it takes about two hours and is a pain in the ass.
• Weapons are available and I want everyone wearing appropriate protective and masking gear. Gaige and Kaidanovsky. We are going to have a long talk before I can clear you for any of them. Everyone who is cleared armed at all times.
• If a threat comes through, Hit the horn, deal with it. The rest of you: that horn goes off, get your ass to the Tesseract. Take any measures necessary to contain. We do not want something getting out and being a danger to the public or giving away our location.
• If we have a breach, the Tesseract is priority. Whoever's on duty, grab the Tesseract, escape into the sewer and Don't get caught. Please review alternate exits. Everyone else, slows progress. If we manage to escape, meet up is room 37 of the JFK Inn by LaGuardia. You should all have keys.
• Computers are second priority. If escape seems unlikely, we have a kill switch located by the blue button.

If you need anything that's not a dumbass request, I'll see what I can manage. Everyone get all that?

So... I'm not always the most social guy around, but Liz seems to think it'd be good for me to reach out a little on this network.

Some of these new bands that weren't around when I was in school are actually pretty good. That's the best part about being here in a different time period, there's all kinds of music to listen to.

Interesting experience today. I went to a school as part of a neighbor's book report. The teacher didn't believe me but said I was quite a good Cosplay effort and I had researched very well. The kids were more inclined to believe however. They wanted to know if I had met Percy yet. When I told them I had once roomed with Nico at the tower they were amazed.

One of them is green and has a little elastic band to keep it closed, and the other is black and pleathery.
