I have been back from Asgard for a few days now and I find myself at a loose end. At home, I would seek some slavers or brigands to bring to justice or to Aveline, depending on how quickly they surrendered and if I had need for some coin, or be drawn into Hawke's plans but here I have none of that. What work is there in this world for a warrior? I have no other skills. I was only ever trained to be a weapon.

I was thinking about starting up a blog again. I don't have a fan following here, though. And being a mutant isn't the same hot-button issue. I don't know, though, I have to do something. I'll get stuck in a rut otherwise.

Even if it's a few weeks late (but hey, just tacking more time on so a jinxy comment is still legit), this is officially the longest I've been in one place. This being Alterna-NYC because Alterna-NYC and my universe NYC so count as two different places. Plus, even more impressive, managed to split the time in this city in only two places. Definite record over the tally of four I had going. I'll save for the drinks on me proclamation though for the one year marker. Sorry folks.

I know its late but figured someone is trying to get rid of fruitcakes even now.

Anyone got any that can be spared? I'm fine tuning the cannon to use fruitcakes as projectiles. Because so far pumpkins and snowballs work perfectly!

School wise: my exam results came too late to make it into actual university classes but I did get into a couple of independent studies that will let me stay on track (plus testing out of several pre-reqs came in handy). Also looking into some options in terms of internships.

Occasionally I introduce myself to someone and they recognize who I am, and then the first thing they inevitably ask me is 'do you think you'll be in the new films?'.

The answer to this is either a) Obviously or b) the films are going to be a different world.

Considering the various realities and multiple people with the same name that co-exist in this tower, either is likely. And neither is particularly my concern.
