I think it's a rule that it shows a lack of creativity to post about the weather, but when the weather is being this creative, there must be an exception to that aforementioned rule. I'm not even one to complain of wet boots but when the winds and cold dampen the spirits it's another thing entirely.

In case there is no exception about the rule of weather-posting, I shall add a postscriptum. Tomorrow night, Basil and I will be attending Penny's Open Mic (Which is no longer Penny's but Dan, Mike and Kaitlyn's -- yet still the tradition continues). I'll be doing a reading of a few poems that I wrote when the sun was warmer and the landscape greener. Might be just the ticket -- though here I go, on about the weather again...

I'm quite sure I've gotten over my fear of aeroplanes. Not because I find flying any less terrifying, but because I'm quite sure it's the fucking airports that will be the death of me. What with all the congestion and delays they're still trying to sort out, it's maddening. I won't be doing that again any time soon.

I wanted to introduce myself to you. My name is Neville Longbottom. I met your daughter, Mr. Castle, through the PTYC Date Auction. Please know my intentions were honorable. I only wanted to make friends, and Alexis has been a wonderful one to me. I am looking forward to when she can show me the city.

I'm writing because I saw something and I'm not sure about it. I was watching telly late last night and I didn't realize it was your show until a good bit in. But the episodes I saw... they were not good ones. Alexis had been kidnapped. It turned out alright in the end, but this is the first time seeing her on the telly. And to see that, it broke my heart - even though I'm sure it came nothing close to your own experiences.

In less than six months, I'll have been here two whole years. It's a hell of a thing to think about when I'd never stayed in one place this long before I got to Bon Temps, and the way things are going here, I might beat my own record. Knock on wood. I'll be working on new recipes courtesy of Sif's Christmas gift to me, so there may be some new daily specials in the near future. You can thank her if it works out.

Lafayette left just recently, which I've been trying not to think about much. He wasn't that happy here, so it's all right, except there ain't much good to look forward to back in Bon Temps either, not for any of us. That's life.

Since it's been a while, I figured I'd take a second to mention that if you need a job, come talk to me down at the bar. Mostly looking for anyone 18 and up, so you can serve alcohol. Bartenders, servers, cooks. Some experience preferred, but some things are easier to pick up than others, so don't let that stop you from coming to talk to me about it.
