Well, it was nice to get a snow day from work this Tuesday but I almost wish I could have gotten a snow week. Because whoever decided that the Upper East Side would be the ones without the snow plows for a good while until after the snow started freezing clearly wanted most people there to have one! Or sue the city.

It's not that I'm not used to seeing snow but seeing it in Salt Lake City, compared to New York City, there's a huge difference. Like work wasn't that far away. I just had to walk a bit but that walk.. thanks to the Great Salt Lake effect, we'd get a ton of snowfall, probably more inches than New York City may have seen. (Maybe? I'm missing more than a decade of years between now and the 90s.) Definitely more than this, and thanks to the lake, freezing was rare.

I miss it. Salt Lake City. Probably the longest I ever stayed in one spot.

And apparently having less hours thanks to the bad weather has contributed to me watching a whole lot of Weather Channel while baking, hence the sudden need to talk about it. I should probably be watching something to catch me up on pop culture instead.

As far as I remember, chickenpox was hell getting it when I was a kid, I can't imagine it being any better for whoever is getting it now regardless of age. That being said, the 20-something floors are a long way up, but if anyone needs something right away closer to the 21st floor where I am, I can help. Soup is one of my fortes.

So hey this thought came to me and I was trying to figure out how to handle it. But then I went luckily there's like fifty of us by now, surely we can put all our heads together. The thing is, I know some of you might miss Aunt May. She's not in the know about everything, but I'd like you guys to be able to see her this month, as a holiday sort of thing. I'm not sure how to sell it to her.

Now I have two uncles and two "sisters."

I'm not complaining, I just had no idea how intense a full house can get.

Just one more full day It's amazing how a tasting of 28 different dipping sauces can open your eyes to what you've been missing. Ketchup, you're great and you'll always have a place on our shelves, but boy, I need to get a bottle of curry ketchup to keep you company. And that mango chutney mayo.
