The Doorway: a panfandom game

One of my colleagues emailed this to me. I am inordinately amused by it.

We've got a couple working theories. That this is HYDRA, that this has to do with the coming end of days, or that its something brought through the Tesseract. Either way, we're looking at extraterrestrial or manmade origin.

Those still at the Carousel, we'll chase into HYDRA's biotech work that Drew was starting up on. We'll leave the apocalypse to SWORD and the Avengers. The rest of us, I want looking into recent arrivals. I called over to SWORD and this month, so far, we've had 10 so far: Hannah from Supernatural, Sabine Wren from Star Wars, Nymphadora Tonks & Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter, Octavia Clarke from the 100. Teddy Altman from my world, Zevran Aranai and Alistair Theirin from Dragon Age, Belgarath the Sorcerer from the Belgariad, and Vanessa Ives from Penny Dreadful.

Hate to ask, but Williams, Kane-- can you have Meadowes follow up with the HP folk? Fenris-- See if it's familiar to anyone from your world?

Last week my team intercepted a med shipment from HYDRA. Now I've got the MSDS for the chemical and the CIA's threat sheet. Can I get you to look at that barrel and find it's somehow applicable to this current situation?

Pestilence is one of those Apocalypse things, ain't it?

How's everyone hanging in there?

Are any of you sick? There is a flu going around apparently. I'm fine, I think but I thought I should check in with all of you.

So, I was having drinks with this Jack Harkness fellow, and it turns out he runs this Torchwood thing. Now I'm in this Torchwood thing, not in charge of anything, and therefore no longer responsible for any nearby fuckups or explosions.

Who says drinking doesn't pay off?

Work is taking me out of town. I do not know how long I will be gone. Perhaps only a day or two but there is rarely any way of telling with these things.

Try not to get into trouble while I am gone.

I will be away for a short period of time for work. Do not let Hawke get into trouble.
