I don't have any personal connections to the war - except being at Hogwarts before the battle, and being so relieved that I was to leave. The one thing I look back on is Pansy standing up and pointing out Potter, because she didn't want to die. Self-preservation is a strong instinct. Anyway. Everyone else was musing and it had me thinking, is all.

Potter-Weasley family: 21 or 53.85%, the first time since I've been keeping track that they've had a majority of the refugee population.

There's a slightly disturbing trend of current departures not being from the Potter-Weasley family, and the last addition of our world was several weeks ago, suggesting a levelling off of those from our world, though the recent departures also indicated a possible trend of keeping just familial units together. Before, the longest stretch of arrivals from this world was 9 days. We are currently at double that (18) days and counting. The last arrival was the re-arrival of Ginny Weasley. Discounting that, the last original arrival from our world was Molly Weasley on the 8th, 20 days ago. There have been 26 total departures. Of those 9 are singular versions that have not reappeared more than once.

I had planned to track ages, though I think that information is going to be too difficult to access. Martha, I hope this provides some insight for you.

I had seen you wrote to me. I do have notes from just my world, and am starting to draw some unusual conclusions that you might like to have a look at. I've also been noticing casually in other worlds' universes that when a refugee arrives, a family member, colleague, or close friend can sometimes arrive very shortly after as well. It's all in the database, if Bennett's given you access to it, for you to parse through on your own.

Is there anyone else out there keeping statistics solely on their world? I know Miss Halverson has been keeping them for all the refugees, but I find the break down between worlds just as fascinating as the breakdown across the board.

There are currently 40 of our world here, if the rumours of Potter leaving are correct. Of these, 18 are from the Potter-Weasley family group. Of these 40, 8 have been here before, left, and returned. No-one has returned more than twice. (There have been 49 of us, with 9 doubles, grand total of of 58 of us - Pansy Parkinson has been here twice, and departed twice.)

I've been working on a spreadsheet of those from our world, I think if I did this right, you can click on this and it will take you to it. Albus, do you think you could fill in let me know the Houses of your cousins? It's not like they announce it when they come in, and I don't want to presume Gryffindor for all of them.

All told, there are 35 of us currently in NYC, and at least 20 of them are Gryffindors. 15 of them are Potter and his extended family. Also, none of his extended family have left after arriving. To date, there have been 49 of us, but that's counting multiple versions of the same people. More Slytherins have come and gone than any other.

I imagine I should introduce myself to those who I am not acquainted with. My name is Albus Severus Potter but you can call me John.

At the suggestion of Ms. Granger, I spent most of yesterday and today perusing the books that highlight a portion of my life as to become more familiar with current critical opinion of who I was.

While enlightening, the books themselves are dreadful as a source of information. Dry, important facts are hidden from the reader for the sheer purpose of entertainment, to sensationalise. They are vexingly biased, crudely composed and insensitive.

I won't be reading those again.

I would like to take a very important moment to thank the exceptionally wonderful and marvellously informative SHIELD staff who took the time to explain to me the extraordinary and unexpected circumstances in which I now find myself. As I'm quite aware that I'm not the first lost soul they've had to direct, I think their patience and accountability both admirable and pleasantly surprising. It must be terribly thankless, unfortunate work to deal with the confusion and frustration of the recently displaced, and so I commend and appreciate their efforts. Thank you.

I must say, I find comfort in the fact that there are still so many aspects of this fickle universe that I still do not fully understand. Education and discovery have always been personal time-passers of mine and the opportunity to re-think, re-learn and re-evaluate a delightful and invited escape from what, for myself, might have otherwise been a dreadfully dull series of future months.

It seems, or at least, I have been told, that a great many of you might be familiar with me. While that does not come as a complete surprise A startling development, indeed, and one I would like to explore further if those kind parties might seek to indulge me and my many curiosities.
