The Prime Minister of Canada and his wife dressed up as Han Solo & Princess Leia and went around trick-or-treatin' with the kids.

They're Hoth costumes, which I guess makes even more sense in Canada than it does most other places.

It has dawned on me that as of this week, I have been here three years.

And I cannot exactly say I have much to show for that. I wonder if perhaps we are nesting too much.

Cafe Orange will be officially opening MONDAY MORNING. To celebrate, we'll be offering free coffee from 6:00AM until noon. So if you want a boost before work, stop by on your way out of Potts Tower! Looking forward to seeing you.

Are you ready for your first official shift? How does 11-7 sound for you, Monday? Since I know you have to come in from Brooklyn?

Sometimes having the ability to phase makes it hard to have fun. I probably would have enjoyed that laser tag game, but I wasn't sure if my powers would make the lasers just pass right through me and that wouldn't have been fair to anyone.

Starting next week, the Potts Tower Clinic will be offering flu shots for anyone who wants them. I know needles suck, but being sick as a dog for a week sucks even more. They're free, and we'll also have tea, coffee and pumpkin cookies on hand while you wait, provided by the Orange Cafe.

I think the pumpkin spice backlash was as predictable as it is stupid. As soon as something is everyone's favorite, it immediately rolls out of popularity faster than Miley Cyrus appropriates other people's culture.

Whatever, Starbucks is on my shitlist anyway. Today I asked for a Hazelnut Latte, and they might have spelled my name right, but the HL they wrote on the cup looked too much like an HC and the barista gave me hot chocolate. :( I almost cried.

Just a few more weeks though, and I'll have my own coffee from my own cafe and we won't have this problem.

To anyone who saw my message a few days ago about falling through my floor and walking through a wall, you have nothing to worry about. It is something that I can control, so people shouldn't worry about me randomly appearing in their apartments. I must have forgotten how to handle it before, which believe you me led to quite a few situations I'd rather not repeat, like when my ability to phase nearly fried both my computer and my smart phone.

That being said, I apologize for alarming anyone.
