Because this game is massive, and even if every character just sent ONE package to anyone, it would end up being 300+ posts in the community. So to save our friends lists from imploding, we the moderators are asking that you fill out this form and reply HERE. The date auction is still on! This won't last long! And if I get any scars from the sores, I'll just look even more badass for my date.

I've only ever seen snow for Christmas a few times in my life. We were in Alaska, one year. Me, my brother, Chuck. We took Chuck sledding and he pelted us with snow, and that was the most fun we'd had in a while. It wasn't much of a Christmas that year. Hasn't been much of one since But people tried. There were always decorations around the Shatterdomes, no matter where we were. It helped to have that small piece of familiarity when you were far from your loved ones over the holidays. Knowing we were all in that same boat helped. It's like that here, too. It's not a lot, but it's something.

This time of year always meant going to the beach to us. Sandcastles, teaching Chuck how to swim in the ocean. When I was deployed, my w his mother would bring her phone so I could call and pretend I was there too.

So I got a job at The Barking Lot on the ground floor. If anyone needs their dogs watched, that's the place to go.

Raleigh and I are going to have Thanksgiving in our apartment. Herc, Newt, sensei, and Chuck, you are of course invited. I am going to make apple pie and chestnut rice. And there will be napa cabbage and apple pickles with yuzu rind. I don't know about the turkey, though. Maybe the great Hercules could help with that?

If anyone else is on the 17th floor and would like to come eat, you are invited as well. We do have a dog, if you're allergic.

Its strange but its like I'm partly dreading and partly looking forward to the holidays for a change.

This isn't the down time I expected, and a part of me is going 'Raleigh what did you eat before bed because this is one screwed up dream.' Luckily feeling like I was electrocuted is a wake up call.
