The Doorway: a panfandom game

I love this time of year, the cheerfulness of people, the winter weather where you can snuggle up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot cocoa and a nice book or movie.

All right, Adele and I are going to be tight for the rest of the season. I can just tell you all this. I'm sorry to my neighbours.

So can anyone tell me - do we do cool parties here in the tower? Or are we on our own for holiday festivities?

So yesterday when I was on patrol, I came across this vampire, that was drinking blood out of a mug. Just drinking blood, out of a mug, wearing a black coat just like Angel's and like... I mean, he was fine. It was one of the ones from home. He wasn't bothering anyone, so I didn't bother him. But this place is so weird.

I don't know if the deals today are better than those on Friday, but it is far more convenient ordering things that I don't need without dealing with the crowds and possible disappointment.

I could stand to have the weather cooler here.

I made it through the entire month of October and ate not a pumpkin anything -- not even a pumpkin shaped candy. I feel as if there ought to be some sort of reward for that.

I'd like for us to plan to spend this month doing a check-up on each of the werewolves that we have that are native to this world. I know that we've had contact with them and have helped them with safety procedures and access to polyjuice for those who wish it. Since they aren't coming in to see us though, I'd like to insure that those precautions are still in place.

Can I get a couple of volunteers for each one to go and check on them, ask how they're doing, let them know if they need support we can offer it - that sort of thing?

For those of you who may have joined after we had that fiasco, these were native populations that were turned by Greyback, the wolf from the Harry Potter universe, when he somehow managed to sneak through under the radar. If you are not familiar with the werewolf lore from Harry Potter I suggest that you become familiar with it before volunteering and there are books and materials and notes, including many from Remus Lupin, at the shop.

Ummmm this may seem weird to you guys. But, my shadow has seem to go missing. If you see it please let me know.

There is something called Master Chef on the television. I suggest eating before watching it. Same for Cake Boss.

For those of you who are newer arrivals and in need of a job, Sam's is always hiring. Stop by anytime for an interview if you want to work as a cook, bartender, or wait staff.

Hey guys, it's Carol. One of the Carols. If anyone isn't aware, I'm your housing assistant. If anyone ever needs anything, just let me know. In any case, since it's Halloween, all of the floors are having a contest about who can decorate their floors and doors the best. We have some really stiff competition, but I think we can pull this off.

I'm thinking maybe we should have a theme. Suggestions? I was thinking maybe a theme of classic horror movies. Or maybe more modern classics. Less Dracula and Wolf Man and more Freddy and Jason kind of thing. I'm definitely up for hearing other suggestions if anyone has them.

Also, maybe you guys want to have a movie marathon? Since my roommate is gone, I've got all this space. We could do it at my place.

I am happy to see October. It has certainly become my favorite month and with that Halloween as my favorite holiday. I've slowly started putting a few decorations up at Sam's for the holiday, everyone should come check it out.

I absolutely love October. It has the first and third best days of the year: my birthday and Halloween. And I'll be able to raise a non-virgin glass at Fangtasia's Halloween party this year! September was a busy month, and like a lot of you (but not all, I'm sure), I was distracted from starting my costume planning. That starts now, Hank. You're going to be on planet both those days. For those of you who have been here less than a year and haven't heard the stories, last Halloween, everyone turned into their costumes at Fangtasia's Halloween party. We had an amazing assembly, including an actual life size dragon. And it was quite safe, as Fangtasia is enchanted to prevent anyone from harming each other. So, who would you want to turn into for a few hours? Because that might be worth incorporating into your costume planning. Please just keep it to a size that fits within Fangtasia! I'm sorry, anyone wanting to dress up as Gypsy Danger or Cherno Alpha. You've been forewarned, so unless you're as rich as Tony Stark, that would be a bill you can't pay. But TARDISes, Artoos, Threepios, and gods all welcome. There will be a costume contest!

Continuing with the Halloween theme and excitement, there's a floor decorating contest in the tower, and I firmly believe we can win this one. We're a smaller floor, but we have some remarkable talent. I thought we could discuss themes and ideas here, so we can coordinate and make this something absolutely memorable. What do you love best about Halloween, what kind of decorating interests do you have, and when would you have time for us to all work together on this? I've set aside a budget, so that none of you need to pay for anything yourselves.

And does everyone just accept that they've been brought here against their will? I have a bad feeling about this.

I realize that I am shortly coming up on 3 years here. It's difficult to believe. Difficult also to believe that by this time next year I will be married.

I would like for the group of us to get together and to discuss how we are currently running patrols, education, research and the like. Sam Winchester has offered to discuss with us a bit more about direct liaison with the NYPD's supernatural unit.

These types of meetings should always happen over food and so I am suggesting we meet at Sam's, early next month - say Monday evening the 5th?

It is horrible not knowing anything, but I do feel better knowing I am not alone in experiencing weird powers. I don't know how it works, I accidentally knocked over a stack of cookbooks and they froze in the air for a few minutes before falling to the ground.

Okay so Im having problems remembering myself. But, I think I'm a witch or something. I can levitate, and when I touched an object in my house, I got images in my head almost like a movie. I think I have a sister here or maybe a best friend because I kept seeing her. This is weird.
