Day two of being Quicksilver. I'm trying not to be bothered by this and just trying to find something to enjoy about it, but it has also left me way more intimate with someone than I ever expected. ... Anyway.

Things I've learned as a man/Quicksilver:

• It's fun to run really fast, but it's way more fun to fly. I miss my rainbow.
  
• Men's clothing is so much more comfortable. I think I knew this before, but now I really understand.
  
• Shaving your face is super complicated.
  
• But showers are so fa Mornings are so uncomf Being tall is nice, except everyone looks kinda intimidated or threatened.
  
• I look hot in a dress like th He could really benefit from some conditioner.
  
• Peeing standing up is a lot more difficult than it looks. (See above: definitely not really something I wanted to do as another person.)
  
• I'm hungry all of the time. Okay, that's not really too different than usual.

Maybe I should make this a video blog.

As I'm pretty sure one destroyed the carousel in Central Park this afternoon. I'm sure there's video, plenty of people seemed to be on their cell phones even with the police pushing everyone back.

I think "sufficiently awkward" is a good way of putting it. Damn. It looks uncomfortable as hell. I'd probably be pissed off the whole time.

Strangely what I'm missing the most from my world was a drink at the Leaky Brain that tasted strongly of engine grease and generally knocked people flat on their ass with enough regularity that Tommy and I kept a tally behind the bar. Absolutely disgusting and I'm fairly certain it could possible be made of actual poison but fond memories all the same. I haven't found anything in the city that quite matches it.

If I thought on it rationally I would hardly think that's what I would pick. But I think Tommy would appreciate it.

The Warriors Three and I have found a new occupation for ourselves. There is a sport called Parkour and it is ever so entertaining. The Midgardians we sported with were quite impressed with our athleticism and skills, particularly when I vaulted over a moving elevated train. It was quite enjoyable. I think I shall partake in it again.

How are the two of you settling in? Is there anything I may do to make your time here more comfortable or to assist you? I do not confess to be an expert on things Migard, but I have been here over a year now and have become reasonably acquainted with this fine city.

I managed to find employment with a courier service. I'm sure my parents would be so proud. I can almost hear my mother's aneurysm through universes. Which really just makes the position all the more exciting.

Well. I have to say, there is nothing quite like waking up surrounded by military types pointing guns at you. Can't say I ever want to experience it again, really.

I actually sort of like seeing protesters. I can't say I necessarily agree with them, but this is a bit of an Ivory tower set up in a city full of people who have nothing close to it. Add in the violence and civil discord is inevitable.

The fact that protests are allowed at all, it's a welcome sight. People care enough to be moved to it.

A public execution of a wealthy, innocent man. Where in the blazes does he think he is? Paris?

I'm supposed to believe this isn't all some sort of memory remix that someone's decided to subject me to?

Decades in the past, costumed heroes running about, and a tower full of people from fictional worlds that's fully provided and paid for. Either I'm a leaper or I've just gone mad.

And apparently I decided to go mad in America?
