Are these SHIELD types anything like the Ministry and the Death Eaters? Should I be on guard like Moody says?

I have spent the past few days exploring the city and I have to say it is certainly complicated to find your way around. I seem to have lost count of the number of times I had to ask someone for directions. Thankfully, someone showed me how to use this google maps thing? That is certainly useful to have.

In other news, I have been considering applying to SHIELD as perhaps some sort of Field Agent or the like but I'm not so sure about that. I don't know what other options there would be for me here.

I felt like I should write all of you again and thank you for the welcome you gave me. I have since then read the novels as Albus suggested and while I feel I know all of you better I am so so sorry that you had to go through all of that.

Also, as we are fictional here the Statue of Secrecy isn't in effect but I'm wondering how free you are with your magic? I have been hesitant to use it so far as I wasn't sure how the locals would react to it.

Oi, I can't believe it's February already. And this winter hasn't been a very good one, but there has been some good things since I've been here. Some very good things.

It's going to be quite different without Hermione being here. Quite.

Tomorrow is a big game, called the Super Bowl. It looks like it's as popular as the Quidditch World Cup. I'll have to check the telly and see what it's all about.

On Professor McGonagall's suggestion and since we're almost as bad as some of the Marvel groups time period wise I think we should have a master list of who is from what period of time. For those interested: SHIELD training going as swimmingly well as can be expected for training of its type. I'm going to like it here. No one especially near and dear to me has arrived through the Tesseract, so that's a shame. Maybe next time.

We'll that was a right ole time then. I'm glad I was able to help out in the defense of the House of Life. Quite remarkable place. Even though I think they had some charmed furniture. I'm pretty sure something wooden hit me from behind at one time. It was amazing to see so many different people and how they fought. Nothing like I had ever seen before.

During some downtime today I found myself roaming the web and came across this. A list of 50 Things We Know Now (We Didn’t Know This Time Last Year). I don't know how I ended up on this page, but the information is really pretty interesting. Though I can say, without a doubt, I do not fall into category #34.

I also found a story from two days ago about scientists working in Mexico's Laguna Ojo de Liebre. They found the underdeveloped carcass of conjoined twin gray whales. Probably a miscarriage based on their underdevelopment. The twins were five to nine feet too small compared to the average grey whale calf. There was no sighting of the mother. This is possibly the first discovery of this type. Pretty amazing.

I only wanted to make friends, and Alexis has been a wonderful one to me. I am looking forward to when she can show me the city.

I'm writing because I saw something and I'm not sure about it. I was watching telly late last night and I didn't realize it was your show until a good bit in. But the episodes I saw... they were not good ones. Alexis had been kidnapped. It turned out alright in the end, but this is the first time seeing her on the telly. And to see that, it broke my heart - even though I'm sure it came nothing close to your own experiences.

I am just... Should I tell her I saw it? I don't want to hurt her and say the wrong thing, or even the right thing wrong. Could you help give me some proper advice?
