There seems to be a rather lot of us here. How utterly delightful. I can't say I'm getting used to this place but I have to admit the technology is rather fascinating.
Filtered to Daphne, Gabriel, Pansy I wonder if this Tesseract thing is trying to make us even more uncomfortable than we already are. I have seen two Weasleys thusfar and Potter - I feel as if we are the unlucky ones in this.
Also, hello my friends, at least you are all here, it could be much worse.
Well. Isn't this quaint. Bloody hell. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect after being released from medical examinations and queries. And this technology is rather interesting. Is this what Muggles use to communicate all the time? Intriguing. So far the only pros to this incident is that I have been told there are literally hundreds of book stores all over the place. That pleases the Ravenclaw side of me.
Pansy, darling, I was told you were here and that I was rooming with you. That is a saving grace, I dare say. Is there anyone else we know here? I mean, they sort of told me there were others but I wasn't paying attention - too much else to think about.
Hello, everyone. My name is Virginia Potts. I'm better known as (and answer to) the moniker that Tony gave me many years ago, Pepper.
I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to the Refugee Network. Tony Stark - as well as many others - created the network so you would have a safe space to talk without the prying eyes of the media. I'd like to give them a warm thank you for their hard work.
Some of you have been here for a while, and as of today, the Tesseract has given us more refugees than it has in the previous five months, and it's still going. I'd like to take a moment to thank the hard-working men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D. for their diligence and perseverance. Without their quick thinking when refugees began to appear, this would have been nearly impossible for any one of us to handle.
And on that note, Director Fury has asked me to pass along the message that they are in dire need for Administrative Staff to help with processing. Anyone who is interested can pass on a note to your Housing Assistant.
Speaking of, there should be one Housing Assistant per two floors (and in one case, three floors). Should you require any assistance, they should be able to help you. Potts Tower is not a new building, but we have gutted it, given it an ARC reactor for clean energy, a full service gym in the basement, an outdoor patio and pool area, and an entertainment area. We plan to utilize all of these areas in the upcoming holiday season in the hopes that it helps alleviate some of the melancholy of being without your families.
Once again, welcome to the Refugee Network and Potts Tower, and I look forward to getting to know you.
-Virginia Potts
