This place is rather fascinating, well, as fascinating as any place can be that really is no place that I know of at all. And, I suppose, as fascinating as any place really can be.
The buildings are taller than the tallest trees of Middle Earth. Imagine! If I did not know better, I would believe that all the wizards of old had come through to here as well to create such tall buildings.
That being said, I am working on a beginning to my story. How should it go? I had something fairly clever written before, but in the excitement of coming here, I seem to have forgotten the words precisely. It will be called,
A Hobbit's Tale: There and Back Again. Has quite a ring to it, though, I am not certain who will ever eventually read it. At least I do have a title.
Dwellings here are so much different than a hobbit hole. Hmm, maybe that is how it should start. "A hobbit hole is such a simple dwelling. Homely and safe, built neatly within the hills of the Shire..." Does sound a bit wordy to me, though. Ah, it will come to me, I imagine, some time soon. I had something clever noted down before.
In the meanwhile, I'm afraid I may be burning through my weed a bit faster than I anticipated. It's a shame no other hobbit is here, as they would more than likely have some with them. Legolas? Fili or Kili? Either of you have anything to smoke from home? May help clear my head to think a bit on how to start the tale again.
