I don't think I'm ever going to get used to weather. It's so changeable! There wasn't any weather in the caves. It was the same all the time. We didn't have to worry about what to wear. Now I have to have clothes for hot weather and clothes for cold weather and clothes for rain and clothes for snow.

I asked Tymalous Shadowstar if he could do something about the weather but he said there was nothing he could do. Isn't that odd? You'd think a god could do something about the weather. He's a god, after all. Maybe it's because this isn't our world?

I can't seem to get a handle on the bees. I'm so so sorry. Their minds aren't like that of other animals. These ones are nasty like rats, too.

I wish I could do something to help. I know how bad their stings can be if you're allergic.

Does it seem that it's always the same people posting in this? I'm not saying that others don't post but over all it seems like that. I have been thinking that I might like a hobby or something to do with my time, I mostly just work and read. I haven't had any luck getting into any of the local riding schools either which is a shame,

I have learned the lesson of checking the used by date before eating something. This was never a problem at home.

I'm thinking of learning some new recipes I just do not know what. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am also thinking of getting a cat. I miss Sarauman.

I spent the evening shopping yesterday and I have to admit that is something I'm still not all that used to. Shopping for clothes that is. We had markets back home but for the most part a lot of it was hand made and the like. We did what we could at the orphanage and later on we were so remote that it was just us, the nearest town was over a days ride away. I have to admit I do miss the horses, especially Galta. He was a temperamental horse but I did like him, especially after he saved my life.

I have seen people mention horse riding on the network but I admit I haven't paid much attention to it which is a shame. Does anyone know where I could go riding?

What that means:

Last Man Standing. Spans over BOTH towers, for people who are over in Stark's tower for work and whatnot. Biology/Chemistry type labs are OFF LIMITS. You won't like Bruce when he's angry.

Everyone is going to get a nerf gun & a tag attached to their door on the morning of Friday, March 22nd. IT WILL LAST UNTIL THERE IS ONE PERSON LEFT. Usually takes about 48 hours.

IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE, attach the tag to your persons whenever you are in the tower, IT HAS TO BE VISIBLE.

If you don't want to join in, don't wear a tag and surrender your gun to me.

NO SHOOTING UNTAGGED PEOPLE. Likewise, no hiding your tag. If you want to play, be fair about it.

ANYWAY. If you shoot someone with a tag fairly, you get their tag and so on and so forth. If they have 5 tags from people they killed, you get all of them. Winner is whoever has the most tags in the end FROM FAIR KILLS. Seriously, don't be a cheating douchebag.

OH AND because this needs to be said; No modding your guns. At all. (I'm looking at you, Mass Effect people.) Extra ammo is your responsibility - each gun comes with 6. Take the ammo from your "kills".

NO POWERS. Sorry about this one, but if you've GOT powers, at least TRY not to use them. Like no Force, or telepathically convincing someone to come out, or telekentically blocking doorways, that sort of thing. You should know what's right and wrong. This includes NO DRONES OR MECHANICAL HELP YOU BUILD.

Some tips;

Watch out for the spies & shooter people (No joke, they are scary MOFOs and usually win. Don't be sore about it, most of them save lives etc etc).

Don't shoot people who are carrying coffee. OW.

I've been here about a day now, and there's one thing I can't figure out.

After work I feel like chancing the subway aga visiting a place that I have yet to see much of in my time here. While I have yet to visit all of this lovely island, I have wish to travel a bit farther this time. Do any of you have any recommendations of places to visit in Queens or Brooklyn? Despite the slight hiccup with the dogs the other week, work is going well. I have to admit though I've been spending a lot of time there and not doing much else. I probably should change that but truthfully I just feel so out of place here, even after all of this time. I do appreciate the people I've met and talked to but still I miss home. I doubt no one doesn't miss their home but I think I'm having just due to how different the two worlds are. I've never been that good in crowds and I have never seen so many people in one place before - not even in Sitrium which was our main city where I lived.

I joined the others watching the Oscar's the other night and I have to say I didn't understand what was happening in the slightly from the jokes to the movies. I had heard of a couple of the movies but not well enough to really understand what was happening. People seemed to be enjoying themselves though.

I'm glad I was on duty when those dogs escaped. While it wasn't at all pleasant, I'm grateful we managed to get it under control and cleaned up quickly enough. Even if it continually smells. It did take me a long time to manage calm them down. I'm grateful that Marian helped me with it, much easier than doing it myself.

Well, this sure is exciting.

I have to say I'm quite enjoying my job. Being able to talk to the dogs and see what they want and how they are doing. At first they found it odd, having never had humans talk to them before but they got used to it, especially after I assured them that I meant no harm. The people who work there too are really nice, I'm glad I have this opportunity.
